[DISSECTION] is a mix series where various artists show their personal spice and flavor. A couple of months ago we had the pleasure to host non-other than Mordio at one of our events, we captured this indcredible moment of sound and energy, filled with deep layered storytelling and impressive mixing techniques. During this mix, the Berlin based producer displayed a clear sonic vision on contemporary clubbing.

Dario Duegra is a spanish Barcelona-based producer, dj and curator. Music wise he is characterized for his love for sculpting immersive sonic experiences on evolving journeys. Mixing hypnotic, cerebral sounds, he creates a seamless voyage where every track contributes to the narrative. From pulsating basslines to ethereal synths, each element builds anticipation, leading to euphoric crescendos. It's about the seamless fusion, the subtle transitions that blur the lines between one sound and the next.

He runs NODE Recordings which encompasses event series and record label. Since its inception, seven years ago, the events serve as immersive experiences, where attendees are transported on mesmerizing sonic voyages that delve into the depths of consciousness. Each artist invited to perform and release embodies the ethos of NODE, bringing their unique perspective to the forefront.

Cauê is a techno DJ and producer from Brazil that has been making music for several years and has established himself as one of the new faces in the deep hypnotic techno scene. Cauê's music is characterised by dark, brooding soundscapes, driving rhythms, and complex melodies that are heavily influenced by the techno scene in London, where he spent several years honing his craft. Inspired by human emotions, mythology and mysticism, Cauê's music has become a unique blend of various influences from well-known artists such as Reggy Van oers, Polar Inertia, Joachim Spieth, Dino Sabatini and others. As a producer, he has released several tracks and EPs on well-known labels and recently started his own label Ogan Records. With Ogan he dives into a deeper and dark spectrum of Techno, focusing on a dark dense and hypnotic approach, with great driving groove and rhythms directed to the dancefloor.

This mix was recorded entirely from Cauê's production with mostly unreleased material, so keep an eye out on his socials for more updates.

Yukari Okamura is an artist who specialises in a gentle and forgiving sound. Sharing the same characteristics as her productions, her live DJ sets delve deeper into the psychedelic dimension of techno. 
In addition to being a resident DJ at Alpha Kokura Club in Fukuoka, she has also had experiences in Europe, Dubai, and South Africa.

Polygonia is a versatile art and music project based in Munich, Germany. Her Precending intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into digital music language. She creates mystic, deep and experimental soundcapes with acoustic elements in it. The goal of her sets is to lead the listener through a colourful story, which includes a palette from bright moods with a lot of atmosphere and harmony into the polyrhythmic abyss of techno and dark ambient.

Iuna Niva is a duo currently based in Florence, Italy. The mix was recorded as they patiently waited for horses to start talking talkatively.

OmNa seeks for emotional catharsis in deep, minimal, and experimental techno.  Greek-born and now based in San Francisco, she combines the European techno influences with Mediterranean tradition, curating mixes which blend energy with emotion. She is currently working on creating her own deep and minimal sound. She has been a resident for Alibi Works, and co-founder of Bureau Noir collective in San Francisco.
