ARTIST'S BIO:
Since 2017, Minjoon has been fascinated by the joining of his painting awareness and primitive techno. His theme is to find an 
ambiguous balance based on the extreme paradoxes of "Unfamiliar familiar". Ambiguous colors are not a visual sense, but appeal to another sense of energy.

Minjoon is also currently working as a designer/artist at Artscope. After his first debut EP in 2021, he has been continuously searching for the sound he has.

It is difficult to see the end to the abyss Vørtice creates within this mix. Starting nice and calm from the very edge where the sea meets the coast, the artist takes the listener for an aquatic ride that only can go deeper. The traveler easily lose themselves in their stirred emotions and thoughts and is masterfully pushed through the  deep realms of  the percussive sound.

He is inspired by nature and the environments that surround him to create a world of hypnotic textures and ambient soundscapes. Summer is here with its light-breathing days, marvellous sunsets and lush nights. Definetly the right time to present you a dear Berlin fellow of ours: BLY!

Deeply rooted & faithfully committed to the passion for breakbeats, jungle and drum & bass since the early 90ies, his path headed to the magnetic atmosphere of techno vibes by 2001. From there, while exploring different genres and projects along with several releases, in 2014 it finally lead him to Berlin and mind-blowing new sound explorations. This wicked cities vibe, ecstatic gatherings and unique locations, amazing people transcending limited perceptions of all senses – all of this together proceeded to a signature sound reflecting in his own productions and handpicked sets. Up to this day, his faithful commitment payed in several releases and dj sets. Mainly at highly recommended underground party series like xXETEXx, where he also contributes his creative vibes as a valued member of the crew.

Today he fuses “oldschool” technical skills with deep, driving Hypnotic sounds and spheric elements, with which he loves to carry people away. His mix-contribution for our podcast series is no exception, transporting you bit by bit, without haste, but with great unfolding progression into unknown sonic realms of the vortex.

Sound artist poropiore is releasing his first album under a new name, oz-chan.

poropiore, a Japanese sound artist who designs spatial soundscapes using his own voice as a material, has worked on numerous acoustic designs for architecture and commercial facilities both in Japan and abroad. This album marks his first dance music work and his first album to be made available for general sale.

This work, centered on the label's concept of "space," expands into an auditory cosmos created by oz-chan. The core of the album is his unique theme: "sound that revolves and expands." His distinctive sound style, where individual notes connect and move like a spiral, weaves throughout the entire album.

While grounded in familiar genres such as deep house, techno, new age, and ambient, the beautifully delicate yet powerful rhythms and unique sounds created from his own voice build a world unique to oz-chan.
