A musical portrait in homage to Pierre Van Parys Bourdelle, 1901-1966, father of Peter Bordelle, a man I met at a concert in Quakertown, PA, and a really fine man, at that.  The words in this piece are all the words of Pierre, who is recounting how his own father, Antoine Bourdelle, who was a sculptor who worked with Rodin, looked at the world. This is the tradition that Peter comes from, and it was a pleasure to learn about Pierre, through Peter.
