2021 SFEMM Album

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Distant Oaks' last recording "Gach La agus Oidhche," we have released an outtake that didn't make it on the original album (but it should have!). These are two fun, bouncy reels you can dance to! The first tune was composed by the late Deborah White, and the second tune is traditional Irish.

Completely generative using 5U and Eurorack modulars, VCV Rack on a computer, and a couple of guitar pedals on the output. No human intervention, it just plays. Loads of chaotic modulation. Six simultaneous audio channels, gated by LFOs in VCV Rack sending pulse waves, with both frequency and pulse width modulation, to envelope generators and VCAs. All audio is from the 5U modular. A true hybrid modular system - analog and digital.
