The tracks on this EP showcase two sides of the same coin. 

System Malfunction introduces the listeners to Archaea's style, showcasing a dark, ethereal, yet futuristic sound of techy drums, deep sub frequencies, and glitchy synths. 

Can You Feel It follows with a heavy hitting artillery of distorted basses, intricate layers of tonal noise, and catchy vocal shots; finishing with a forward-thinking, kick-driven, second drop. The two tracks intend to show off the full spectrum of Archaea's sound, from minimal tech to heavy neurofunk.

this track is a remix of a classic trnaceanthem that inspired most of us in the 90s with the amazing atmospheres that robert miles produced. i have to say this was the most challenging bassline ever for me to make as i had to tune each note on a seperate sub because the way the original was made. i added another extra piano in the same notes over the top to give a bouncing effect and then added a few different strings i had arranged.

this is my latest roller style dnb track but has some sleight elemnts from dark jungle and neuro for a unique style of sound with a big t-rex roar. the artwork is by myself as i drew this a while back in micron pens.

From 90’s raver to ‘late blooming’ D&B producer, CELO’s focus is on the deeper, minimal and liquid side of the drum & bass genre, with influences from artists such as Leftfield, Arkaik, The Prodigy, Break, Foo Fighters and the old skool sounds of early Jungle, hip hop and rock. 

CELO is a UK drum & bass artist now based in Denmark, with releases on Hyperactivity Music, Midnight Sun Recordings and many others. Having gained massive traction on Spotify, and DJ’d at various club nights such as Subhive and FEUM, CELO focuses on producing melodic, deep liquid drum & bass, with the odd track on the darker side of the spectrum.
