Jones&Roth return to Groovebox for their first solo EP. The Berlin based duo consisting of estimua and Pino Peña are known for their alternative approach to house music, using a lot of rhythm, crazy sounds and pads to create something deep and unique. Since as solo producers they come from opposing genres the combination of their sounds always yields something special. In „Hymne an den Frühling“ you’ll hear tracks ranging from deep house to something that doesn’t really fit in a genre plus a groovy remix by mpeg.

Mitekiss returns with his two-track single ‘Seventeen (feat. Pixie Cola)’ and ‘Grief In Puddles’, teeing up for his next big project that’s due to land early 2022 on Hospital Records. His acclaimed ‘Night Bus Stories’ EP came out earlier this year and was an introspective glimpse into his journeys home on the N68 and an ode to London life. Honing in on his reputation as a deep, soulful drum & bass extraordinaire, Mitekiss continues to release 
music of the highest calibre alongside unearthing and curating some of the finest talent for his own Goldfat Records imprint which he runs alongside Mr Porter.

Mitekiss’ signature soulful production ties in beautifully with up and coming vocalist, Pixie Cola. Her soothing vocals bring listeners to an upbeat liquid number on ‘Seventeen’. Combining his love for jazz with his skill for being a top notch A&R scout and tastemaker, Mitekiss and Pixie Cola cook up a relatable tale infused with dreamy synths, a bouncing upright bass and crystal clear percussion.

‘Grief In Puddles’ sees Mitekiss explore the darker and minimal avenues of drum & bass. Sombre chords, skippy drumwork and a selection of gently mangled bass wobbles all demonstrate Mitekiss’ versatile style. His ability to produce a deep and dangerous banger should not be tested.

Aside running his Goldfat label which has seen recent recent releases from the likes of Winslow, IYRE, Telomic, pyxis, Athena and Digital Native to name a few, Mitekiss affirms his status amongst the drum & bass community with his music frequenting support from the likes of LSB, London Elektricity, Hybrid Minds, DJ Ron, Nu:Tone and Degs. With previous releases on some of the scene’s most respected labels including Shogun Audio, MTA Recordings and his very own Goldfat, you can always count on new music from Mitekiss to never disappoint.

Seattle based KLIPPEE cleverly intertwines headbanger culture with DnB groove on the immense ‘Reset’. The rhythm and textures are reminiscent of an addictive halftime slammer run at higher tempo. The syncopation during the buildup is hypnotic, intermittent by a cinematic dun dun dun before the alluring vocal sample sets up the explosive drop.

Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital signings Nu:Tone and Logistics. The two brothers, Dan and Matt Gresham, first joined forces under this new alias in the mid noughties, with the first Nu:Logic release "On & On" appearing on Hospital in 2004. The project went on the back burner until 2010 when they released their "New Technique" EP to great critical acclaim.

The pair combine the music that they love - music with soul, atmosphere, tension and groove - together into one melting pot of sound. Whilst growing up they were exposed to the same music, but quickly found their tastes diverging. However now they are older, these have moved closer together again and at the core is a shared love of artists such as DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, MoWax, Full Cycle, Heaz, No U Turn, Jazzanova and Calibre.

With nine individual albums between them and their debut Nu:Logic album "What I've Always Waited For" released in 2013 which has been making waves in the D&B scene and beyond, it is now time for their new album "Somewhere Between The Light" which is due out in June this year.
