DJ Balduin from Leipzig is a seasoned selector with more than two decades of experience in tracking down musical treasures. As an avid believer that some songs shine only under the right circumstances he doesn’t shy away from weaving repetitive loops with patterns of ambience just to let some hands-up moments unfold every now and then. Since he doesn’t like to think in categories, his best guess to describe his vivid 4/4 sets would be “Hypnocelestial salsa-dub house”.

Two hours in the center of Tokyo with the best sound I've ever heard, dream line-up including Chida, 5ive and Powder and the perfect crowd that stayed until the very end. If there is ever a 100 out of 100 party, when you don’t have to prove anything behind the decks, but instead, just enjoy the ride, this one came the closest. RA pick, full room, no photo and video, family soundcheck, tons of friends, four channels, and alpha mixer. What else do you need?

ADS IV is a fascinating selection, effortlessly mixed by Berlin based Antony Cacharron who's the creative behind boutique label Ausblick.  It's always a pleasure to hear some diversity in Dub Techno moods and grooves and those in abundance with this set.  My caps doffed to Anthony who will also be appearing on the MLD Goes Live festival program in August.
