Oslo trance outfit Accelerationism is the brainchild of Marius Bø & Teo Bachs, whose trippy, high-energy sounds were born back in 2017 as a series of open-air woodland raves. The Norwegian duo are co-founders of the Ute Collective, an umbrella sobriquet spearheading their current charge alongside other artists with forest gathering division Uteklubb and imprint Ute.Rec (and sublabels Sinensis and Translusid for a deeper dive into ambient-, hardtrance as well as Goa). The pair are even known to distribute their music as mix CDs from time to time, an appropriately authentic and tangible format for a 90s sound having such a profound resurgence in a world dominated by digital media. There’s clearly a lot on their plate, and that’s maybe not so surprising: the same passion the duo pours into their many projects is manifested by a diligent and lightning-fast brand of trance - this rabble-rousing duo has energy in abundance. Bassiani Podcast 175 channels Marius and Teo’s firebrand spirit and clandestine forest gatherings with emotive nostalgia as well as fresh and radical optimism. This mix consists of unreleased nordic trance for a dazzling and uncertain future.

Helena Hauff, a former resident DJ at Hamburg's Golden Pudel Club, rose to global prominence with her 2015 album "Discreet Desires." Known for her authentic style and expertly curated DJ sets spanning acid, electro, EBM, and techno, she has headlined major festivals like Sonar and Dekmantel. Hauff’s BBC Essential Mix was named the best of 2017, and her latest album, "Qualm," continues her raw, powerful approach to music.

DJ MELL G emerged through 2020 livestreams, quickly gaining recognition. She launched JUICY GANG RECORDS in 2021 and has since toured globally, blending electro, techno, and breakbeat. Performing at top venues like fabric and Golden Pudel Club, she’s also collaborated with artists like DJ GODFATHER. Her debut LP, "ISSUES," reflects her journey and commitment to mental health awareness in the music industry.

An expansive sound that has evolved from a keen affinity with Japanese rave culture and out of his steadily growing collection of CDs and records. This master selector deals in skittish rhythms and ominously brewing atmospherics, and walks a hazy path through the twilight realm that precipitates a kind of reverence that’s often rare. From his native land to KUNE Festival and Amsterdam's Garage Noord, these prolific beats are exporting a style palpably his and putting his sigil on the ascendant. Bassiani Podcast 238 is his prototypical sound, a throbbing mass of beats that morphs larger in the direction of unmapped worlds, a two-hour studio mix that unapologetically pulls you towards its slick and hazy centre.

Next up in our mix-series is our good friend from Georgia, Kvanchi. Kvanchi is a central figure in Tbilisi's scene, being a resident and a core member at Bassiani. As a regular in Horoom, the club's upstairs, he has earned a reputation as one of the city's finest selectors. His deep connection to the local scene is evident not just in his sets, but also through his work as the label manager for Bassiani Records, where he champions both local and international talent.

For this mix Kvanchi takes us on the trippier and trancier sides of his collection, mixing old school stripped down goa records and minimal groove lockers. Kvanchi infuses the mix with a distinct blend of precision and world building - embodying the essence of his artistry, offering a glimpse into the groovy and rolling realms of trance music.
