These times where everything occurs so fast is really difficult to make a pause and with calm try to understand what you have in front of you.

Just for the simple fact you are reading about this new project, we want to thank you, so thank you very much for supporting this project, we really appreciate you put some of your time reading and listen about it.

This is an epic crusade that simply wants to show in all its splendor what it means for many of us such an eroded term but as beautiful as it is the word "underground".

For many of us, this music represents values that we would like to see more often, values that we want (and we need) to be reflected in future generations.

Now that everyone talks about our music is easy to read here and there things like "...electro music is very limited ... sounds always the same"... These words really hurts many of us, the many we love, and we know in depth what electro music is, because electro music is just the opposite, it is a very diverse and rich music, you can feel the pulse of electro in many compositions, thousands of tracks, even in ambient tracks with no beats.

For this reason we call this project ELECTRIC ECLECTICS

The support we received to our last projects, the 5th Anniversary 808 Box and Music For The Other People Place helped us to take more risk and decide to start with Electric Eclectics.

The foundations and the aim of this project is exactly the same of the 808 Box, but this time we want to put the light over some artists who helped to build and develop the sound of modern electro music, but also others that we consider the present and the future of our music, the Underground Electro Music.

This new box includes 21 high quality vinyl records, mastered and cut at 45rpm for the best sound and dynamics. Each of the first 18 records are dedicated to one artist, the other 2 are an advance of the second part of this project next year. The audio included here is about one/two minutes of all tracks included in each record... this is more than 3 hours... the total length of the 21 records is almost 9 hours of pure electro music.

The date was the 30th of February 3030 and the sun was setting on Geneva. The air was thick, filled with ash from an impact that has radically modified the scenery. At the surface of the Rhône, jellyfish were adjusting their perceptronic implants in order to map out this sudden modification of their environment that had become the largest crater in the history of the Jonction area. The trail of debris ran from the junction of the Rhône and Arve rivers right up to the legendary derelict factory called formerly called l’Usine, which used to be a centre for alternative arts, culture and live music.
Terrified by the deafening crash of the astral body into the millennia-old building, humanoids and robots alike flocked to the smoking hole that seemed to lead straight to purgatory. Among the curious crowd, Burd Bibendaze, Salt Lake City’s infamous astral body impactology in fresh water environments specialist. Burd had been in town for a thousand years by now, still studying the hybrids created by the impact of the last asteroid to hit Geneva’s lake region in the early 21st century.
As Burd was still trying to fathom his luck at witnessing a second impact in such a short space of time, he saw something move in the gaping hole beneath him. A relatively small, half slug-like, half humanoid being was floating it’s way up out of the hole. The creature had a mask in the shape the like of which Burd had only seen in history books, as if there really was a life-form that fit the 21st century human’s idea of what an extra-terrestrial.
As the automated security forces rushed to the unkown creature, it waved them aside with a deft movement, stopping them mid-air with a power beyond Burd or any of the onlooker’s comprehension. The creature stopped and looked straight through Burd’s eyes and into his soul. “Hello Burd”, came a voice in his head, “My name’s Brian”. French producer Bruit Fantôme is known since 2012 for some beautiful records between sytnhwave and electronica released on Alpage Records. He's also known under his monikers Musique d'Ambiance and Transistor Galaxii. That new EP on Tripalium Records firstly existed as a title and an idea: "My next album will be called “Robert Smith” and it will be recorded and listened to on tape". However it was not about The Cure’s coldwave, nor “Futur Noir” or “Vestiges” synthwave, the previous Bruit Fantôme’s EP. There wasn’t, besides of that, any desire to produce an album in a specific style but simply let the track writing came as it was. The result is an EP with 7 dark electro tunes, somewhere between Drexciya, UR, Aphex Twin or Mariel Ito.
