Dr. Adrian Wan is a registered social worker, psychotherapist, and a teaching faculty at the University of Hong Kong. He has started to teach MSC Programs since 2017, and he is also the translator of the MSC Teacher’s Guide in Hong Kong Chinese. Adrian's clinical practice focuses primarily on psycho-oncology, mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, and caregiver burnout. Furthermore, Adrian’s research interest lies in the application of mindfulness-based and compassion-inspired interventions, holistic health interventions, stress management, caregiver burnout, human thriving, and chronic illness, as well as mood disorders. His works have been published in peer review journals, book chapters, textbooks, and being presented in international academic conferences. 

Over the past 7 years, Dr. Wan has actively participated in the promotion of holistic well-being, self-compassion, and mindfulness as a way of living in Hong Kong. He conducts seminars, training programs for allied health professionals, as well as workshops for students in social work, medical and mental health professionals, the business sector, and the public.

She leads retreats for the mindfulness charity The Sharpham Trust & co-created their Self-Compassion programme. Her interests lie in learning how to befriend & embrace our inner landscapes whilst relating to the outside world & others in a kind & compassionate way. As a practising medical doctor, she understands the importance of integrating mindfulness and self-compassion practices as a way to keep balance in everyday life.
