Dragon Dreaming 2022 - this festival was the first party I ever attended many years ago, the first time I ever played a set completely made up of my own creations and a place that has shaped my life and sound in so many ways. Seeing it flying again after three long years on hiatus and being reunited with so many special people was an absolute treat. The lake was full, the skies were blue, the grass was green and there were smiles all around. This is a recording of the icing on the cake, being given the privilege of playing the closing set on the main stage was a real full circle moment for me, and one I will always cherish, so thank you to the organisers and everyone who was there for the whole weekend and made it so bloody special. Traversing a delicate balance of uplifting emotional fabrics over dark contemplative soundscapes, Obnubilation is a journey into the deep caverns of the mind, where no emotion is safe from expression. 

The world is certainly a crazy place. While the Covid quarantine is slowly being lifted as humanity emerges into a new sense of reality, many of us are feeling more hopeful for the future after having the space to recharge, reassess, and recuperate. 

Unfortunately, juxtaposed against that emergence is the destructive nature of man's greed and lust for power as the world plunges into chaotic sociopolitical imbalance, war, division, and social unrest. 

We are witnessing humanity reach a new precipice as old emotions are processed, old ways are changed, and letting go of what no longer serves us. We are witnessing the death of the world while seeing the birth of a new spiritual reality all around us.

This mix is a tribute to this insanity. This big beautiful crazy mess we find ourselves in has so much beauty strewn about and there is a lot of potential for self-realization during these times.

Let curiosity carry you through this twisted psychill journey as you sit back, relax, and enjoy the music. Immerse your mind and spirit into these vibes and I'll see you on the other side.
