wonderful sad melody and voice. very calm

Someone reposted. Such an interesting piece. The lyric is such a mood. I wodner if the keyboard has some reverb or effect on it? It gets a little distorted almost at points, kind of dominating the mix. Anyway I'm not a techie guy, maybe it's an effect you want. This to me is a song, straight up song, and a beautiful one at that.
