Hottrax boss Jamie Jones teams up with Nathan Barato for a pair of rhythmic cuts titled ‘Cherry’s Revenge’.

Nathan Barato has been a staple on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations imprint and Paradise events ever since gracing both of them in 2014. Reflecting on recent releases via Saved Records and Cajual, the Toronto native has continued rolling out releases in fine form, and his global gig schedule reflects his candescent reputation. On the other hand, Jamie Jones has been helming his multiple successful labels when not releasing on Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory and Dusky’s 17 Steps; continuing to cement his name as one of the world’s most illustrious DJs, producers and label owners.

Composed of intricate percussion and sporadic synth stabs, ‘Cherry’s Revenge’ sees Jones and Barato in fine form. The dancefloor focused roller blends rumbling bass and robust snares with chopped vox samples and whirling police sirens, forming a production destined to inject life into any situation. On the flip, ‘Cheating Chester’ samples a Sunset Boulevard working girl discovering the cheating exploits of her pimp boyfriend and mashes it with mesmerising effects, tight hats, a purring baseline and distorted synths.

Founded by Hector Couto back in 2013, Roush looks set to enjoy it's biggest year to date, celebrating it's fifth anniversary in style having already welcomed notable names such as Steve Lawler, DJ W!ld, Tuccillo and Phil Weeks to the label. With Sonar just around the corner, the Tenerife based imprint continues it's 'Sampler' series this June, delivering thirteen fresh cuts that are set to make an impact across Barcelona's infamous OFF week. Label favourite Javi Bora opens proceedings alongside Piem to deliver the dynamic 'King Of Vila', before rising talent Jairo Delli delivers 'Body Pi', fusing slick percussion fills and vibrant synth builds. Next up, FreedomB and Space Jump Salute combine on 'All Night Tonight', whilst Gav Whitehouse lays down chunky kicks and spiraling lead lines for his label debut entitled 'They're Coming". Drastic Duo and Taty Munoz both shift the focus towards percussive territories, Manu Gonzalez's 'Mind Games' introduces infectious vocals amongst nostalgic house tones to reveal a production that's set to become a favourite of many in the months ahead, whilst Picca & Mars' and Gorkiz & Killed Kassette's cuts see both pairings opt for skipping hats woven amongst driving low-end grooves. To close, Dutch talent Gerbert Vos unveils the dark and kinetic 'Give It', Luigi Rocca and Anis Hachemi combine to drop the thunderous 'Rawtomation', Tuffdub & Aday Chinea's 'Da Menace' combines booming claps and stuttered vocal samples, before Makanan & Iva Dive punctuate the package with the bright and bumping 'Mondadito'. Roush's 'OFF Sonar Sampler 2018' is out on 11th June 2018.

With Releases on Labels such as Glasgow Underground, Simma Black/Red, Audio Rehab, Freakin’ 909 & Safe Music,  2017 kicked off with their Release on Safe Music ”Body Pump” reaching #8 On traxsource in their singles chart

Their sets range from a Tech House set of four to the floor tracks, to Bass House, Garage & anything they feel necessary. The crowd never leaves a gig of theirs surprised and wanting more. Something which has driven to the duo to Super clubs such as Sankeys MCR & Ibiza, Ministry of Sound London, Custard Factory Birmingham.

Certified Jackin was formed in 2011 with the intention of taking the big-bass “jackin house” sound that was taking over the North of England and the Midlands and deliver to a wider audience. This was achieved via a simple YouTube channel which quickly, and slightly unexpectedly, became a massive success, harnessing close to 100,000 subscribers and over 25 million views. The sound we delivered was greatly received throughout the United Kingdom and across the globe.
 
Over the following years, we helped promote and intensify the early careers of well-respected artists who featured heavily under the CJ name. Artists such as Hannah Wants, Chris Lorenzo and of course, our head honcho: ILL PHIL, amongst many others. Their meteoric rise through the music scene has, along with other artists and DJs brought underground House music to the forefront of the dance music world, specifically the ‘Jackin’, ‘Bass’ and ‘Tech House’ genres.
 
We host events across the United Kingdom, mainly at the prestigious Lightbox in London where we have hosted some of the best in the business: Endor, The Wideboys, Tom Bull, Rich Pinder, Skapes, Martin Ikin and others. We have taken Certified to Dublin with Tom Zanetti, Tom Garnett and Nick Hannam. We’ve also graced Tank in Sheffield, Insomnifest in Leeds, Manchester, Rotherham, Maidstone and Dover.
 
ILL PHIL’s world-famous Mixtapes have amassed millions of plays on SoundCloud and our debut album ‘Certified Jackin: Underground House Music’ cracked the Top 10 of the iTunes dance chart in mid-2014.
 
Our sound has naturally changed over time, but our values remain the same. We aim to deliver high energy, feel good, bass-laden house music with a twist. Full frontal, underground beats.
