EDZO (Eduard Dychkovski) is a Toronto-based DJ and producer, originally from Chortkiv in Western Ukraine. His musical identity has been shaped by the melodic, emotive, and rhythm-driven shades of house and techno, which he blends into a cohesive and expressive sonic signature.

Over the years, EDZO has become a rising presence in Canada’s electronic scene, sharing the stage with internationally recognized artists such as Calussa, Foletto, Rick Pier O’Neil, My Friend, Astrix, Rafael Cerato, Avalon, Hatikwa, Ghost Rider, Burn In Noise, Fernanda Pistelli, IKON, Rikam, and Vegas (Brazil). His performances are defined by emotional progression, tight groove, and a refined sense of musical storytelling.

Episode 025 is a carefully crafted exploration of melodic, progressive, and deep techno. The mix unfolds through atmospheric layers, driving rhythms, and evolving tension—elements that represent the core of EDZO’s sound. This episode highlights his continuous artistic growth, both as a DJ and as a producer, as he expands his sonic palette and deepens his creative expression.

To celebrate Jimpster coming to play at the next OPEN, we decided to put together a mix paying tribute to one of his record labels Freerange Records. At the time of posting this mix, there are 312 releases on the label, and next year the label will have been running for 30 years. Between Lee and Ash, we have over 150 of the releases on the label so picking an hour's worth was very difficult so there may be more Freerange Records tribute mixes in the future. We've put together 15 tracks from the label from over the years, and we missed out a lot more. 
A note from Lee - Personally, Freerange is a favourite label of mine. Not only that Jimpster is easily in my top three djs too. The upcoming event is one I am excited for, and I really hope to see you all and have a dance with you. Back in 2015, I had the honour of warming up for Jimpster at an event in London. Since that party, we've stayed in touch and become friends. I'm excited to co-host an event a decade later with Jimpster joining us. I hope you enjoy the mix and hopefully we can bring you a lot more mixes throughout 2026.
