 A forever fan of electronic music.
 
Since i was a kid, elecrtronic music surprised me and took my attention for good, I was actively listening and searching for new sets and music, and was always shocking to me how Djs, the best of them by now, like Carl Cox, Solomun, Black Coffee and many more, were able to communicate and synthesized dance floors of thousands of people with rythms and sounds that were so futuristic to me, until i discovered in a better way. 
 
For this love that i discovered in a early stage of my life, and all the amazing things that this music allow me to transmit, I decided to release my first music Podcast, where I'm going to share with all of you, my passion about this amazing music.

I hope all of you enjoy this the way I enjoy my self by doing it.

You know Dirtybird for dropping basslines and creating smiles on the dance floor since January 2005.

The fun family vibe of the Dirtybird label can be traced back to a free event started in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. This new kind of house music went against the smooth vocal house that was popular at the time and derived its influences mostly from hip-hop, drum n bass, and American funk. The free outdoor BBQ party was very rough around the edges but eventually became legendary amongst the people of San Francisco. This event was also a very influential factor in the decision by Claude VonStroke to start the record label in 2005.

Today, Dirtybird has offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and has expanded into events and tour production. As it grows, the brand continues to expand beyond music into merchandise, licensing and artist management. In 2015, Dirtybird launched the inaugural Dirtybird Campout festival, which has been dubbed “Summer Camp For Adults”, and Dirtybird has been recognized from their achievements by being awarded "Underground Label of the Year" at the International Dance Music Awards, “Label of the Decade” by Mixmag, “Best North American Label” by DJ Mag, and Billboard’s "Top 5 Independent Dance Labels".

CJ Martinez from the city of Caracas - Venezuela, began his career in 2009 by appearing at various parties and clubs in his city and since then drawing the attention of the public and increasing his popularity for his skill, mastery and uniqueness behind the DJ Booth.

With the passing of time, he became one of the most popular and sought-after DJs in Venezuela, appearing in the most prestigious clubs in the country, obtaining great renown for his mixing technique and for his musical selection.

Later, CJ Martinez settled in MADRID - SPAIN, where in a short time he achieved great projection and international recognition, playing in the best venues in Spain such as FABRIK, LAB, GOYA SOCIAL CLUB, BLACKHAUS, CITY HALL, sharing the stage with great DJs such as Joey Daniel, Bassel Darwish, Neverdogs, Shaf Huse, Caal, DJ Fronter, Harvy Valencia, Tony Guerra, Gustavo Dominguez among others and has been summoned to play at Ibiza wild Afterparties and on Contries like Germany, Chile & Dominican Republic.

Currently, CJ has developed a unique style, influenced largely by an exchange between Hip Hop and electronic music, without leaving aside his Latin roots always hand in hand with musical lines loaded with a lot of Groove, hypnotizing melodies and a Totally unique, bringing to the dance floors some sets of free rein added with a lot of imagination and a singular style, leaving his personal signature in each presentation.

His talent when it comes to producing has led him to sign with major labels such as MOODCHILD, UNDER NO ILLUSION, SICK MODE, HAPPY TECHNO, ROUSH, SPACE OF SOUND & NO PRESET getting support from Top DJs Like Loco Dice & Joseph Capriati.
