A self-taught musician, media artist, and writer, Obra burst onto the international club scene as a DJ in the early 2000s. His presence resonated within the underground circuit parties of Cali, Colombia (Mistika, Club Oz) and Puerto Rico (Eros). In the United States, his powerful sound has reverberated across dance floors in Miami, San Diego, New Orleans, and his hometown of New York City. Expanding his reach, Obra launched the Official Obra Primitiva Tribal Session Podcast and a bi-monthly internet radio show streamed on platforms like Hearthis, SoundCloud, and MixCloud, where his high-ranking casts consistently dominate the Tribal house category on Podomatic.

Within the club scene, Obra has showcased his beat-rich sets twice a month at renowned events, including the FREAK Party Thursdays, HOTMALE Fridays, and Saturday Evening Xtreme (S.E.X) at the legendary G Lounge in New York City, alongside events at Splash Superclub NYC's F-Word Party, Bartini Ultra-Lounge, and CLICK Fridays at the superclub XL and BPM NYC. In 2013, he brought his distinctive sound to the MATINEE PRIDE Event, sharing the stage with a lineup of top international DJs. The following year, he captivated the West Coast crowd at the ACTION Underground Party during San Diego Pride, marking his debut performance in the area. His presence has also been felt at nationally recognized parties such as STATION, HAUS of FANTASY, and NSA (Cellar Bar).

Currently in New York City, Obra Primitiva sets a high standard as the preferred DJ/Producer for launching epic parties like Ski High, Eu4ria (Hudson Terrace), Circuit, KINK Evolution (EVO), and TROY Afterhours. His commitment to delivering a high-caliber, unique musical experience has secured him a residency at the landmark party BRUT at Santos Party House/Irving Plaza. In 2016, Obra once again made waves on the West Coast, launching the afterhours party RAUNCH in San Francisco and becoming a prominent figure within the coveted Afterhours circuit in Los Angeles with RELOAD.

A highly respected producer, Obra crafts productions that are a microcosm of a carefully curated collection of talented artists and producers who have left their imprint on house music across generations. His dedication and passion have led him to develop a distinct sound within the tribal/progressive house genre, influenced by iconic DJ/Producers like Ralphi Rosario, Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone, Hex Hector, Friburn & Urik, and the legendary Club 69's Peter Rauhofer and the Godfather of House Frankie Knuckles. Obra's powerful erotic tribal sound reflects his rich influences, blending history, rhythm, and explosive Latin beats with entrancing yet energetic melodic baselines.

BIO:

Cindel grew up in the birthplace of House music surrounded by the four on the floor and the music that emanated from the basements on the South Side and the cultural legacy of clubs like the Warehouse. If you have not guessed it, we are talking about the historic influences bequeathed by the originators Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy and Paul Johnson in the Windy City of Chicago.
This is where House found a home and from that nascent rising it has spawned genres that have gone to circle the globe. In recent times, it is the tribal richness of Afro House that has been creating waves in the underground scene, and DJ Producer Cindel is one of those rare talents who is able to bring all its elements together to deliver extraordinary textures of beats, rhythms, and melodies.
A wizard behind the decks, his fluid approach to mixing breathes life into the dancefloor as he takes his audiences on a never-ending journey learnt through a 20-year career in the game. Known as The King of Drums, he owes the very essence of that title to his Puerto Rican heritage. The flamboyance of that genetic imprint is writ large in his character and he is in high demand globally for that magic dust he sprinkles on the turntables. 
From supporting icons of the industry such as Chus & Ceballos during Pride NYC at the Pier Dance to playing in Tokyo, Korea, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Great Britain and much of Europe, Canada, Mexico and coast to coast in the USA, his sets are renowned for their electrifying and mesmerising blends and song selection.
Complimenting that insatiable desire to deliver impeccable music, Cindel has also been immersed in the studio to create tracks that set a new standard on the Afro scene. Inspired by producers Danny Tenaglia, Oscar G, Robbie Rivera, Ninetoes, Monkey Safari, Cloone and many more, his releases have consistently shaped the night in a melange of sounds that not only pays tribute to those icons but which also break new ground.
That crossing of boundaries reached new heights with the release of a four track EP in 2024 titled Melodia, with its lead single Astronaut appearing in the Beatport charts. His follow up track in January 2025 Too Far Gone will further enhance his worthy reputation, and with more releases in the pipeline, Cindel is destined to transition from his LGBTQIA+ community into the mainstream with consummate ease.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Anthony felt a passion for music from a young age. He started to listen to and understand the music of the clubs and decided early on that this was where is heart was at.Once entered into the world of a D.J. It was identified early on that he had a natural ability to draw crowds to clubs as he bought the floor alive, he has a vibrant energy that is evident in each and every one of his performances.
He then began to use his talent to start producing his own music and this has had great success and increased his following furthermore. He brings the life to electronic music that will only aid its desire to be the music of tomorrow.
He has had great success playing all around the world in cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Miami, London, Rio de Janeiro, Tel Aviv, Ibiza, Dubai, Lisbon, Paris, Dublin, Singapore, Milan, Mykonos, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chiles, Los Angeles, Toronto...etc. He also played quite often in very well known gay circuit brands.
