DJ ZhamoZha was never into electronic music, until he discovered Balkan Beats in mid 2000s. When he realised there was no one to play this music in Moscow, he taught himself DJing and became a co-founder and resident of Balkanizacija, a nomad party line that quickly gained cult following in the Moscow night life scene. More recently, ZhamoZha has been promoting his own project Elektroswinka, where he plays electro swing – another genre blending modern urban beats with something that has soul – this time all that jazz from the roaring 20s, which he may mix with everything from funk to electro blues to nu cumbia. In Moscow, he has been playing/residing in a variety of venues including Oldich, Time Out Bar and Masterskaya. Apart from Moscow, over the last couple of years ZhamoZha spinned in places like Paris, New York, Madrid, Valencia, Montreal, Amsterdam, Vilnius, Kiev, St. Petersburg – and who knows where the groove takes him next.

Hudobný projekt MALALATA pôsobí na scéne už 19 rokov a je synonymom pre jedinečnú fúziu balkan beats, gypsy music, reggae a world music. Dvojica slovenských DJs spája tieto rytmy doosobitých setov, ktoré dopĺňa o nespútanú a nákazlivo energickú performance.

Pod taktovkou MALALATA pulzovali nielen kluby po celej Európe, ale aj vo vzdialenom Japonsku či Mexiku. Duo svojou show roztancovalo festivaly Colours of Ostrava, Sziget festival, Pohoda, Grape, Uprising a vystúpilo na jednom pódiu s esami ako Parov Stelar, Goran Bregović, Shantel, Mahala Rai Banda či Fanfare Ciocarlia. 

Od roku
2011 navyše zabáva českú a slovenskú scénu žánrovou party Balkan Bashavel, ktorá si svojou unikátnou atmosférou získala tisícky verných fanúšikov.
