Punkrock Gangster (Baybeats Edition)

Cesspit is a 6 piece ska band from Singapore who writes and produces their own songs. 
Influenced by punk rock, folk, traditional, latin and reggae, they have been around 
since 1995. Originally an Oi! band, they switched to ska with the introduction of a horn section.

Their tracks, “Wake Up” and “Punkrock Gangster” is a well loved tune amongst the local gigging
scene, often pulling in crowds to full house during open air shows in Esplanade and gigs around 
the island. Their “Best Before 050403” album, produced in 2003 under the label, Straits Records,
was well received during their album launch at Far East Square, and brought the band to perform
at the Official Opening of Esplanade amongst many others, including overseas shows in Malaysia 
and Batam.

A few band member changes and 12 years of gigging experience after their first album, they are
ready to rock more stages with catchy tunes, crazy horn blasts and skanking melodies to get crowds
on their feet.
