Indeed, it is one of the most distinctive collectives in the modern underground scene, and this description perfectly captures their values and musical vision.

Velvety female voice, intimate and a little cracked with life.
Solo nylon-string guitar soaked in plate reverb, every note blooming and vanishing like foam on a wave; delicate natural harmonics floating overhead like fireflies.
Vancouver Island tribal drums whispering secrets, upright bass snarling and walking  across moonlit tiles.
Arrangement stripped to the bone: nothing enters unless it can be felt more than heard; faint distant Vancouver Island wind , kissing the last chorus, silence used as an instrument.
