Simon de Sion aka SimonFromZion c'est l'éclectisme à l'état pur. Ayant fait ses armes dans l'univers des sound systems à 16 ans en collectionnant ses premiers 45t, il a un gout indéniable pour le world musique, du reggae au zouk en passant par le dancehall, hip hop, le garage, le break, le D&B... 
Lors de ses 21 ans il décide de move une petite année en Angleterre et découvre une multitude de styles musicaux différents, plus disco, plus sombres, plus synthés, plus trance... Simon de Sion c'est donc ça, le penchant plus Dark de SimonFromZion.

Live hardware jams. 

Consuming and collecting cds, records, and digital formats of various styles of electronic music for over 25 years, a bedroom dj for most.  
DAW on every pc but could never connect expressively on a computer. Last year I received a KO-II sampler on my 42nd bday…the gateway into a rapid fulfilling and inspiring experience of absorbing books on music theory, acquiring more gear, determined to learn each inside and out.  
The Elektron Digitakt II is always the centerpiece. 
The uploads here are a documenting of my progress. 
No planning, hardware only moments in the jam, when it’s flowing and some kind of structure is evolving then press record. 
Progression is inevitable.
Thank God for knowledge gained.
