 Double Spliff is a sound system rooted&grounded in the Val Cesano area (Marche ITALY) since 2010. In 2003 its founder Lele (selecta & promoter) set the foundation for a lively emerging music scene: with several dj sets here and there he made sure people from Val Cesano had a first taste of reggae music. After meeting Mr P. (the former operator/producer & musicians of Double Spliff sound system), they together conceived the idea of ​​giving birth to a real "sound wall": the sound system was built and the musical proposal of Double Spliff grew mature, getting closer to the musical standard set by UK stepper, ruff&tuff heavy dubz and a strictly vinyl music selection. Nowadays Mr.P still remains one of the few Italian handicraftsman being able to build Dub sirens and Pre amps, unanimously recognized as products of remarkable quality; in 2015 Mannaroman MC joined the Double spliff crew, and last but not the least Bottaman, a young&promising selecta took part in the musical mission. Double Spliff is a versatile reality marked by musical taste and conscious contents, imagined & shaped in order to recreate the musical atmosphere that can be usually found in Uk Dub clubs and all over Europe; the Yellow and Black Sound hosted on its own hi-fi International producers & singers: from Brother Culture to I-tal Soup, from Michael Exodus to Iration Steppa passing through Obf, mc Baco, radio fontani , Capra & DanMan; we also attended (as guests) several renewed Reggae and Dub festivals such as Bababoom Festival, Zion Station festival, Dub Castle , Abroots festival , Dubstone festival and Amsterdam Sound System Weekender. Double Spliff sound system is a steady reality in the local area and, who knows, maybe even a little bit further.

Le Dawood Sound System, actuellement basé vers Poitiers est composé de 4 potes ayant entamé leur aventure commune il y a 5 ans.
Le projet a débuté avec très peu d'enceintes, mais dès le départ, ils avaient à coeur de partager leurs propres productions durant les soirées qu'ils organisaient, accompagnés de leur chanteur, Mc Mondoshawan, également producteur et depuis peu un trompettiste a rejoint l’aventure. Dawood, de par le dynamisme et la motivation de ses troupes a su attirer tout types d'individus dans leur univers autour de la musique dub mais pas seulement. Leurs événements sont ouverts à d'autres styles et cultures, rassemblant un public toujours plus large, amateurs de bonnes musiques.
 Leur Sound System a beaucoup évolué et ils possèdent aujourd'hui 4 scoops. Ils se baladent avec celui ci tant en ville que dans les campagnes profondes pour diffuser leur musique et leur énergie.
Ils sont influencés par de nombreux styles de musique, allant du reggae, du roots, au stepper Uk et français, ainsi que par le hip hop, la musique électronique, les musiques traditionnelles d'ici et d'ailleurs dont ils s'inspirent pour leurs productions.
Depuis la sortie du premier EP « Da First Sample » les dates se sont enchaînés ainsi que les nouvelles productions ! Ce deuxième projet « Da Inner Journey » marque une nouvelle étape dans la vie du collectif qui continue d’évoluer et de s’affirmer dans son propre style. Tout comme le premier, deux remixs de dubmakers ami du crew sont présents sur cette album.

The Dawood Sound System, currently based around Poitiers (France) is composed of 4 friends who started their common adventure more than 3 years ago.
The project began with very few speakers, but from the start, they wanted to share their own productions during the dances they organized, accompanied by their singer, Mc Mondoshawan, also producer, a trumpettist also joined the adventure recently. Dawood, thank's the dynamism and motivation of his troops, has attracted all kind of people in their world, around dub music but not only. Their events are open to other styles and cultures, bringing together an ever wider audience, lovers of good music.
Their Sound System has evolved a lot and they now own 4 scoops. They travel with this one both in town and in the deep countryside to spread their music and energy.
They are influenced by many styles of music, from reggae and roots to UK and French stepper, as well as hip hop, electronic music, traditional music from here and there, which they use as inspiration for their productions.
Since the release of the first EP "Da First Sample" the crew played in a lot of gigs with or without the sound system, always producing new tracks to share in the danse. This second opus "Da Inner Journey" marks a new stage in the life of the collective which continues to evolve and assert itself in its own style. Like in the first EP « Da First Sample », two remixes of dubmakers friend of the crew were made for this album.
