Matthew Brue (Vocalist/Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer) & David Butler (Engineer/Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer) released their debut album, ‘Loner,’ via RCA Records in May of 2017. The genre-bending & eclectically dark duo from Austin, TX quickly landed a global radio hit with their first single ‘Middle Fingers’ debuting on Conan O’Brien’s late night show & reaching #9 on the Billboard Alternative Charts. WELSHLY ARMS combines their love of blues with rhythm and soul & good ol’ rock and roll, to create a fresh throwback sound that represents their Midwestern roots. Comprised of Sam Getz (guitar/vocals), Brett Lindemann (keys), Jimmy Weaver (bass), Mikey Gould (drums) and Bri and Jon Bryant (bgv’s), Cleveland-based WELSHLY ARMS pays homage to many of their collective musical influences such as Jimi Hendrix, The Temptations, Otis Redding, and Howlin Wolf.

The power of their live show has quickly built them a dedicated following in Ohio and has set the stage for things to tip into a national following in 2016 with performances confirmed on/at The Rock Boat, SXSW, Summerfest, Austin City Limits, Laurel Live, the San Diego County Fair and more. Within the last year alone, their music has been featured in the movie trailer for the Jack Black Film “The D Train,” a national TV/radio campaign for the Cleveland Indians, the promo for the new Netflix show Sense8 and the movie trailer for the new Quentin Tarantino movie, Hateful Eight.

In August of 2016, WELSHLY ARMS will embark on The Tour De Compadres, supporting NEEDTOBREATHE and Mat Kearney on a 53 date tour across the US, hitting iconic venues such as Red Rocks and The Greek Theatre.

Dorothy Martin is the firestarter behind Los Angeles-based rock band DOROTHY—a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter known for fusing raw emotion, spiritual grit, and thunderous rock ‘n’ roll.
