New piano composition composed 9/11/2013.  Tentative arrangement.

In a time when the world is too easily focused on the differences between different people and cultures and fear of the unknown, online communities such as SoundCloud are amazing places for people from all over the world to come together and celebrate life and the gift of music.

Places like this allow artists to sincerely and honestly share their talents in an uncompromised manner with whomever would listen. This is possible regardless of who the artist is, where they are from, what level of marketing savvy they posses, or what degree of support they have from the entrenched entertainment establishment that purports to dictate what is cool, trending, and marketable.  It allows sincerity to triumph and for real people to find other real people wherever they are.  It allows people to potentially expand their concept of friendship and family from the microcosm of the self to the macrocosm of the global village. It allows us all to focus on our shared commonalities and better believe in the innate goodness in all humans via uniting in our shared passion for the universal language of music.

Andrew Souter -- Smile From Afar

The first single 'Coffee and Doughnut' from Takahiro Kido, a music composer who is also a member of Anoice, an instrumental music band.

This single was recorded whilst Anoice worked on their upcoming new album 'Stories in White’, to be released on the 16th July, and was made into a gentle and fantastic song that is in stark contrast to those included on Anoice's album. This is also a personal track in which Takahiro Kido did all the creating process alone from not only playing all the instruments such as a piano, celesta, accordion, and organ, and recording them, but also mixing and mastering them and in addition to the release’s artwork.

The gentle sound of the upright piano and the charming sounds from toy instruments could give you a moment of peace and pleasure from your busy daily life.

Previously unreleased track by A Swarm of the Sun. The song is called Deliver Us From Our Dreams and is featured as an official demo of the Birgir Jón Birgisson (Sigur Rós) produced Post-Rock EZX-expansion for EZDrummer 2 drum production tools.

The track was originally intended as a ten-minute instrumental piece for the band's latest album The Rifts, released in January 2015. When Toontrack asked A Swarm of the Sun to make a demo for their new expansion, it seemed like a great opportunity to give new purpose to the song.
