Contemporary R&B artist J’amar Lyriq (Jordan Walker) was born and raised in Long Beach, California to a musical family. An energetic and enthusiastic as a child, he sang with his older sister and brother to the encouragement of his mother, while his father introduced him to the Hip-Hop sounds of DPG and Mack 10. 

While working in Los Angeles J’amar developed a sound heavily influenced by Michael Jackson, Musiq Soulchild and Chris Brown. And writes songs that reflects his state of mind, all while bringing a positive and fun sound to his growing following.
