I wrote this song when I was 15 years old.  If you look on this SoundCloud account you can hear the original version of the song which is more of a pop punk song.  The original version was on “Disappear Today” which was recorded by Cragmatic Pope in 1995.  

I recorded this for something to do when I was stuck indoors on a rainy day in 2013.  The recording isn’t fantastic but I did what I could with what I had at the time, which wasn’t much.    Every time I played this song on the guitar I was compelled to play this melancholy version of the song and found the mood of this version to fit the lyrics far better than the original.  I decided to spend the day capturing this side of the song.  Other than the arrangement I tried to change the song as little as possible as I still wanted it to sound like “Secret Weapon” despite the changes.
