Dj Wags, originally from Cape Town but now living in Johannesburg, has been djing at clubs around South Africa for the past 10 years.

In 2011 5fm went in search of a new, rising Ultimix@6 star Dj. Hundreds of mixes were sent through and after an intense on-air competition, Dj Wags was crowned the winner.

2012 was a phenomenal year for Dj Wags, which saw him play to adoring crowds across the country from Cape Town to Durban and even Zimbabwe and Mozambique. He also headlined Pinkie Fest, which attracted over 8000 people in August 2012.

In 2013 Dj Wags took up a residency on the 5fm breakfast show with Gareth Cliff, and his weekly ‘weekend baby’ mix had the whole of South Africa dancing in their cars every Friday morning. 

Dj Wags released his first compilation disc as part of Bump 33 in October 2013 and has now joined the highly successful Bump brand with more releases due in 2014.

Hailing from South Africa, Ashton & Cameron Singh have fused their musical talents into the up and coming duo TagTeamMusic. The teenage brothers, currently schooling, have come a very long way in a very short period of time. TagTeamMusic is the epitome of cool, calm and collected – that is, until they hit the decks and work club crowds around the country into a frenzy. Their roots lie in Jazz, Soul, Funk, Electro, House, Progressive, RnB and Hip-hop.

People can expect a DJ set like they’ve never witnessed or heard before, as something new and unexplored to the listener is always on the menu, always keeping the performance dynamic and Fresh!

It is, it seems, a veritable fairy-tale story emerging from this talented and grittily determined duo. But, let’s not forget that this story is still in its infancy and this really is just the very beginning of a very eventful and successful journey.
