Chad Wallz is a Melbourne-based producer known for his distinctly tasty mix of Boom Bap, Lofi, Soul, Chillhop and other funky treats. Emerging as a hip hop lyricist touring clubs and festivals in the early 2000s, his evolution to beatmaker has seen him perform alongside some of the best in the business — both as a member of Melbourne collective Lab Co, and as a solo artist taking the stage in Japan, USA and across his homeland. A natural selector, Chad’s ability to dig crates for rare and unusual gems results in a unique blend of sounds that transcend stereotypes and genres.

Some people say it's this and others say it's that, most don't know and thats ok too.
folk, rock, new wave, blues could be apt genre descriptions.
False starts, great videos, and a love of flying drones could describe a music career that has yielded little more than first prize in a meat raffle (financially speaking) BUT has been big on returns for good times, melody, harmony, soul, and a good laugh.
Those are the in between bits.
The moments before and after the grind of the waking day.
Music is soundtrack that mutes the ugly noises we make on earth.
(This is a little earnest for my liking, but has a home in its truth).
