My set from Moontribe's October 2014 Full Moon Gathering. It started just as the moon became fully eclipsed and lasted until the first sliver of moon light emerged on the edge blood red moon. A magical gathering!

Recorded 5am-7am, under a Full Moon eclipse into the sunrise!  Was planning a fully night set here but this worked out perfectly as the first 1 hour 15 were in darkness with the moon just on the way back from the eclipse, and the morning sun coming up in the final 45.  

I hadn't played FMG at night in about a year and a half so this was really exciting for me!  Brought out the weird trippy techno, a bunch of it brand new.  Didn't have much time to mix before the gig so spent my precious time organizing the tracks by energy, I think it worked really well.

Actually I haven't listened to this all the way through as I am getting ready to leave town, but I remember it being good :)  Looking forward to listening fully soon!

Treavor Moontribe cofundó el colectivo Moontribe, con sede en Los Ángeles, y sus icónicas fiestas en el desierto bajo la luna llena. Desde 1993, estos eventos han sido una parte esencial de la escena electrónica underground del sur de California, y continúan celebrándose hasta el día de hoy.

Como DJ, sus sets se caracterizan por su gran diversidad, reflejo de sus amplios gustos musicales que abarcan múltiples géneros. Esta misma diversidad se manifiesta en sus producciones originales, entre las que destacan sus proyectos más reconocidos: Desert Dwellers, PheuZen y su proyecto homónimo Treavor Moontribe.

A través de sus dos sellos discográficos independientes, Dreaming Awake y Alien Breakdance, así como mediante colaboraciones con otros sellos de renombre a nivel mundial, la música de Treavor ha alcanzado los primeros puestos en numerosas listas y ha sido tocada por una gran cantidad de DJs destacados.

Más allá de la producción musical y el DJing, Treavor también ha estado profundamente involucrado en la industria musical. Entre 2005 y 2012 fue Director del área Dance/Electrónica en INgrooves Music Distribution, iniciando cuando la empresa contaba con menos de 15 empleados y saliendo cuando ya superaban los 100.

Bio: Treavor Moontribe co-founded the Los Angeles-based "Moontribe
Collective" and its iconic full moon desert gatherings. Since 1993, these
events have been integral to Southern California's underground electronic
music scene and continue to this day. As a DJ, his sets are distinguished
by their diversity, reflecting his broad musical tastes spanning multiple
genres. This diversity is also reflected in his original music production, with
his most notable projects being Desert Dwellers, PheuZen and his
namesake Treavor Moontribe. Through his two self owned and managed
record labels Dreaming Awake and Alien Breakdance, as well as a host of
other top labels around the world, Treavor’s music has topped many charts
and been played by countless top DJs.
Beyond music production and DJing, Treavor has also been deeply
embedded in the music business itself. From 2005 to 2012 he was the
Director of Dance/Electronic at INgrooves Music Distribution, starting with
the company when they had less than 15 employees and leaving when
there were well over 100. He also co-founded the record label Desert Trax
with his fellow Desert Dweller, Amani Friend. Their label helped launch the
careers of several prominent names in the downtempo/chill out music
scene and has over 150 releases to date.
Currently living in Guatemala, Treavor continues to tour frequently and is

What an honor to have been asked to play the closing set during the Super Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse that took place on  September 27, 2015. Total Eclipse begins around 1 hour mark.

As a long time lover of dance music culture, influenced by a wide range of music throughout his youth and inspired by the DJs and happenings of the early 90s California rave scene, Chadwick began his journey as a DJ in 1993.

Over the years of playing events large and small including Moontribe, Terrakroma, Psytribe, Electric Daisy Carnival, Serenity Gathering, and Photosynthesis, he has developed a diverse musical palette ranging in various styles of techno, progressive, trance, psytrance, psytech, breakbeats, house and electronica. While having a deep love for underground club and warehouse dancefloors, Chadwick feels most at home playing outdoors under the open sky. Day or night, indoors or out, his sets will take you to a place of heart thumping, foot stomping, psychedelic bliss.

Chadwick is a resident DJ and organizing volunteer with Southern California’s Moontribe Collective, who have been gathering under the full moon in the Mojave Desert since 1993.
