A romantic-period symphonic journey through a single sunrise that becomes myth. From the hush before dawn to the full crown of daylight, each track unfolds in internal movements, carrying a recurring Sun Motif that rises from shadow into radiance. Wordless choir appears as birdsong, bright air, and distant angelic warmth, lifting the orchestra toward a playful, energetic confidence—the feeling that today is “The Golden Day,” and it’s going to be wonderful.

Ride of the Valkyries (from Apocalypse Now)

This is an orchestral cover of the main theme from the motion picture ‘Star Trek Into Darkness.’  It stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Anton Yeltsin, Bruce Greenwood, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, & Benedict Cumberbatch.  The original score was composed by Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles, Jurassic World, Spiderman: Far From Home).  This is one of the best scores I’ve heard, plus I’m a huge ’trekkie' & had to give it a try.  I focused on not just playing chords; but learning how every instrument was played.  It took about 2 weeks from start to finish; listening to every detail and trying to get all the parts right-the trills, rips, choir vibratos, even some of the bow changes.  I did this all one my 4GB MacBook Air with a huge lift from EastWest Composer Cloud thanks guys); all by ear, and all in MIDI. Star Trek Into Darkness-Main Theme (Cover)

A few years back, I played and performed one of my favorite themes from Lord of the Rings The Two Towers Soundtrack:   The Rohan Theme.  I used it as a way to test out a new sample library of orchestra sounds, and was pleased with the results.  This is Howard Shore's masterpiece, in a great sounding midi format.   No sheet music was used for this.
