He, along with DJ Paulo, is credited for the popular club track "Chicky Boom," which helped establish his name on a global scale. With over a decade of experience behind the decks, Eddie Martinez has carved out a commanding presence in the global electronic dance music scene. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Martinez was inspired early on by the city’s vibrant underground nightlife. What began with intimate sets in Manhattan soon transformed into a meteoric rise, launched by a breakout residency at Fire Island Pines’ iconic Pavilion nightclub at just 21 years old.
A pivotal moment in Martinez’s career came when he caught the attention of Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Peter Rauhofer. Their relationship quickly evolved into a deep mentorship and close friendship, with Martinez becoming a resident DJ for Rauhofer’s legendary WORK! parties. Sharing the stage with his mentor at some of the country’s most influential events, Martinez soon became a staple of New York City nightlife—earning a reputation for his high-octane sets, remix prowess, and ability to ignite any crowd.
