The Trauco is a mythological creature from the Chiloé culture, known for its small, ugly features and its magical power to lure women into love with evil intentions, which later lead to them appearing pregnant.

During the colonial era, they were persecuted and repressed for their practices. To this day, the people of Chiloé still believe that there are still witches.
