As a music producer, Malakai crafts beats that are characterized by their dark, atmospheric, and cinematic qualities, often drawing inspiration from horror films. His production style pays homage to influential figures such as Three 6 Mafia, DJ Zirk, DJ Sound, Dr. Dre, Project Pat, Skinny Pimp, and DJ Screw, blending their influences into a distinctive sound that resonates with the underground music community.

Throughout his career, Malakai has collaborated with a roster of underground legends including Evil Pimp, Krucifix Klan, La Chat, Z-Dogg, Tinimaine, Hardcore Montana, Apoc Krysis, DJKILLAC, Lord Infamous, Lil Wyte, Seed of 6ix, ZedZilla, Ganksta N-I-P as well as mainstream artists like That Mexican Ot and DeeBaby.
