Disquiet Junto challenge 516 - Outside In (Co/Exist 1 of 3)
Record a minute or two of nature.

I recorded in the Amsterdam Westerpark. A small part of the park is a tiny tiny wetland nature reserve for birds (no access in the breeding season, etc). I attached two small microphones to stalks of reed, seeking to capture the 'insider's perspective' of gusts of wind, something we (outsiders) experience as waves of 'white noise'.

The Assignment: Forge an unobtrusive path through musical flora.

Step 1: Take as inspiration the warning in the photo that serves as this project’s cover image.

Step 2: Think about the concept of creating an unobtrusive path through the musical equivalent of fragile vegetation.

Step 3: Record a piece of music that traces the path you imagined in Step 2.

Fragile - disquiet0528

This track was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0528 (details see below) and presents musical flora: An unobstrusive path symbolized by a simple melody line meanders through two different sections of a botanical garden. My thoughts drifted to the beautiful landscapes of the https://sichtungsgarten-hermannshof.de/. A Hohner Organetta was the perfect instruments to trace the path.
