CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

IVY: Where I come from, the techno scene is underground in the truest sense. Any form of gathering, rave, or event like this is forbidden and often labeled as something dark or even “satanic.” I’ve suffered a lot through this path — even got arrested once just for participating in the scene. But that struggle shaped my sound and identity. The danger and resistance gave the music a different kind of depth — it’s not just about dancing; it’s survival, expression, and defiance.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

IVY: In this set, I wanted to create a deep hypnotic flow — something that pulls the listener so far in that they lose track of time. Every transition was meant to blur the edges between moments, so it feels like one long emotional movement rather than a sequence of tracks.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

IVY: When I started, I was obsessed with the raw energy of bochka — that hard +170 BPM sound. Over time, I learned how to balance that intensity with emotion and structure.
