Dark techno

During the past few months of the Pandemic chronicles, we rekindled our love for Germany. Both of us were born there, but we haven't lived there for over two decades. 

We witnessed the death of techno caused by mainstream capitalists around the millenium. Engaging with the artists, we were stunned by how well the scene has recovered since. It also showed us how diverse techno has become and that audio quality, access to a diverse library, or distribution are no longer obstacles for music producers.

We aim to investigate what defines underground techno in Germany and interview artists about their views on it. We will be publishing the interviews in German and English, allowing a broader audience to dive into this subculture. We will also ask each artist to record a set for our SoundCloud channel and release both every Wednesday.

Dan djs and produces hard techno ranging from Rave to Industrial styles from 138 to 160bpm. He plays what he wants! Recently dropping EPs Expel Your Demons Records, Flesh and Hammers along with remixes for Vanya koreya, Karl Schwarz and Rebekah which is due out for release in June, Dan has been really busy with new EPs that are to drop in the coming months.

We've been really rating the chord-laden, techno-leaning stylings of 'Multiverso' but here we present the title track, a cut that's got the legs to make it all the way to the terraces in Ibiza this summer.

The percussion is quintessential Cuartero and it clatters along with a focused groove before big, thick basslines come bounding in. Dementia Affliction started to play Metal/Dark/Electro in 2005.
Did vocals parts, first in a Harsh EBM, second project was Deathcore.

These days he focuses on DJing. 
His sets are full of samples and he has an obsession with Loops and Techniques.
Infuenced by Dark Wave, Deathcore, Drum and Bass, Crossbreed, Harsh EBM, Aggrotech, Dark Techno. Hard Techno and Industrial Obscure beats you can expect a lot of diversety in his sets but the focus is on Hard!!

JGMZ rogue, brave, demanding. I've been immersed in the scene for half my life, but it's in 2018 when I start sharing my passion for it by working as a DJ for different clubs and in 2019 publishing my first tracks as Madrid Nightlife with Techno Bunkers or The 90¨s Realm.

In 2019 JGMZ i make the big jump to music production; I experiment, investigate, acquire knowledge, share concerns with other artists and gradually polish my sound.
