CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

TECHIER3Z: The local techno scene in Iran actually takes place underground. We face many challenges on our path to making music, but we persevere. There’s no support and no security in our industry—we risk getting arrested and facing criminal charges solely for creating music. When I first started in the music industry years ago, there were only a handful of events where a DJ could participate or gain valuable experience. However, we have come a long way since then. Electronic music is now more accepted by society, and there is a rise of new artists. We're learning how to make our voices heard worldwide and support each other along the way.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

TECHIER3Z: About this set—first off, I always try to stay up to date and usually choose tracks that are freshly released. I don't know when you're hearing my podcast, but at the time of making it, I only selected tracks that had been released within the last two months. Not every track is exactly my taste or a favorite; instead, I focused on choosing and mixing tracks that would sound the best together. My main goal for this podcast was to create a set with an ascending energy, so as you listen, each track becomes more energetic, giving you a full hour of bochka-style music, which is currently my favorite genre.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

TECHIER3Z: When I first started, I was more into making deep techno music. I've always enjoyed deep and dark techno, but since then, I've grown and developed new interests. Now, I'm more focused on creating my own sound style— a personalized signature as an artist. What motivates me the most is sharing my music with people who understand it and receiving positive feedback from them. I prioritize crafting something meaningful rather than being the most active and releasing tracks to boost numbers.

xuri81-borned in 1981, writing songs since 2004, interested in techno-and hardtechno, but he stopped at 160bpm. using fl-studio since 2005, before that he tryed reason. he's style is not ordinarry, the sounds are kinda mechanical sometimes using soft rhythems.the mix of hardtechno and schranz. his music is based on personal experience. usually the crowed likes his music, because of it's special sound.
