NØUS is based in Amsterdam (NL) and is a hard techno DJ & producer, influenced by industrial sounds.

You may know him from his releases on labels such as Rave Session, Voxnox, HATE, Chained Vision, and many more. He managed to get massive support from artists such as Rebekah, Paula Temple, Cassie Raptor, BRECC, KØZLØV, Callush, SNTS, and many more.

NØUS started making music at the age of 16 years old and hasn't stopped since then. He immediately felt in love with the hard techno scene. Currently, NØUS goes to many raves such as: Intercell, Reaktor, Vault Session, and many more. Going to raves gives him a lot of inspiration for both producing and mixing.

NØUS also is the co-founder of Sub-Terra Trax, a hard industrial techno label based in Utrecht (NL). Sub-Terra Trax is a platform experimenting with hard and industrial sounds. And always looking for new and fresh inpute while supporting the community.

About VØLK:
I'm 19 yo from Tunisia and started learning mixing 6 months ago, inspired by many artists and I'm excited about the russian Bochka style and Hard Industrial because I feel so comfortable with it and can express all my emotions with it. I'm trying to achieve big goals by mixing at big events and my next plan is to start producing and making my own music. I'm just so passionate and that's where I find myself in the next few years. I can see it and feel it and I'm working so hard on it.

KALASHNIKÓV: I'm actually inspired and motivated by what the EKIP Family is doing. I follow Industrial but mainly BOCHKA style.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

KALASHNIKÓV: Of course. I wanted this to be totally a BOCHKA Podcast and I think I succeeded. It wasn't easy because it was my first BOCHKA Podcast and it felt like a challenge. But most of all I want to stay in the BOCHKA style because I can see that I feel that it's my way.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

KALASHNIKÓV: My set style consists of fast atmospheric heavy beats BOCHKA. I think I'm getting more and more skillful now, there are mistakes. But even the most professional people make mistakes, and no podcast is completely flawless.

CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

ZORN: Our local techno and DJ scene is based more on hard techno and vocal trance. There are only a few DJs and events in the Industrial/Bochka area, but they stick together. An example of this are snutsch and Ziviler Ungehorsam as well as the event "Smallroom" at Forum Bielefeld. The sound of snutsch and Ziviler Ungehorsam and Tituz (from Berlin) inspired me to start making music too.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

ZORN: My set describes the ultimate ZORN sound: Fast, dark and driving

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

ZORN: My goal from the beginning was to reflect my sound exactly as in this set. I started DJing in January and since then, with incredible support from snutsch and Ziviler Ungehorsam, I've steadily improved my technique and track selection. Through my good friend Body Identification I have also trained my ear even more by teaching me the techniques of playing on vinyl.

CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

Sęrtec: I think the techno scene in the Netherlands is a bit ruined. I started going to raves in 2022 and I think that the atmosphere is a lot worse now in my perspective. It’s about who plays the hardest instead of a nice buildup through the night with different styles of techno.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

Sęrtec: I tried to make this set with tracks from artists who differentiate themselves from the mainstream. I really respect and look up to these artists for the tracks they make (especially FRAG451, RIJA, Hush&Sleep, BNØ). I tried to make a set which takes you on an emotional journey with a nice buildup through the set.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

Sęrtec: I think the set reflects the style I’m representing now. In the early days of my career, it was all about the hard kicks and now it’s all about the energy and emotion for me. Thats is what made me fall in love with techno, not the hard kicks.

REVIVAN: As a child, I was always fascinated by electronic and melodic cinematic music. After many years of listening to hardstyle, I discovered the Hard Techno scene at Verknipt Festival 2023. I instantly fell in love with the way dark atmospheres and melodies were blended with an industrial, relentless kick. Soon after, I found myself inspired by artists like Raxeller, Gostwork, Toxic Machinery, and more. By eventually combining all of my interests and the elements I truly feel connected to, I developed my own sound and that has shaped me as an artist.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

REVIVAN: The tracks I selected for this set represent my style in the purest way.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

REVIVAN: This set captures the essence of my journey as an artist. It reflects the transition from my early fascination with melodic and cinematic elements to the darker, industrial energy of Hard Techno. The progression of the track selection shows how I have learned to merge those influences into a cohesive sound that feels authentic to me.

M1CH4L: The techno scene in Slovakia is strange. People here only know mainstream or what they see on TikTok, and the underground has almost no value. That’s why I chose a path that not many people here take, and most importantly, I enjoy it.

M1CH4L: I don’t have much to share, I just picked the tracks I simply like and wanted to play them.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

M1CH4L: I started learning with classic Hard Techno, but after a while I switched to the Bochka style because that’s what I love the most and enjoy playing the most.

CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

IVY: Where I come from, the techno scene is underground in the truest sense. Any form of gathering, rave, or event like this is forbidden and often labeled as something dark or even “satanic.” I’ve suffered a lot through this path — even got arrested once just for participating in the scene. But that struggle shaped my sound and identity. The danger and resistance gave the music a different kind of depth — it’s not just about dancing; it’s survival, expression, and defiance.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

IVY: In this set, I wanted to create a deep hypnotic flow — something that pulls the listener so far in that they lose track of time. Every transition was meant to blur the edges between moments, so it feels like one long emotional movement rather than a sequence of tracks.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

IVY: When I started, I was obsessed with the raw energy of bochka — that hard +170 BPM sound. Over time, I learned how to balance that intensity with emotion and structure.

CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

БЫДЛØ: I live in Copenhagen, Denmarks capital and biggest city. The scene here is not great for harder sounds. We have a lot of mainstream Berlin style stuff which i never really got into although i have been going to a lot of it through the years. The best stuff here in Denmark is the Dark Psy/Forest scene out of Århus (the 2nd biggest city in Denmark). A lot of free parties out in the woods with really good music and a... really tough crowd lets say haha. many wild experiences there. So thats the local scene for me in a nutshell, the psychedelics has shaped me a lot! But i think the hypnotic German stuff has also brainwashed me a bit. I have produced Gabber for many years, it is my great passion throughout my life. Lived a bit in Amsterdam, went to many raves in the Netherlands, played some raves in Italy, Netherlands, Germany, and Russia. Through my contact with Russia i fell into Bochka, and i suppose the blend of dark psychedelic atmosphere and hypnotic relentless German groove just trapped me haha. It makes sense when i think about it. Have been caught in this hole since.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

БЫДЛØ: The set is mainly my own productions sprinkled with my fellow Distortion Alliance residents (Distkick, PäNGLØSS) tracks. It is just a simple DJ-set, no tricks or anything. Looking back on it now there is always things i would like to change or do different, but that is just the nature of it. Its a snapshot in time, meant to wither away as it hopefully connects with some souls in the process, no point in crying over spilt milk.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

БЫДЛØ: I think my sound since i started doing Bochka has maybe gone from more psychedelic towards a more relentless hypnotic sound? Hard for me to judge. Everything always changes, i leave it to the interested to look up and compare my work. My current ambition is to fuse elements from my Gabber past into Bochka. Stay tuned. If people are interested in my past work they can look up Rodox Trading. My Bochka music pales in comparison to the masters of the genre. My favourites, as luck would have it, are my fellow residents of Distortion Alliance, Distkick & PäNGLØSS. I cannot recommend them enough.
