Eric J. Green better known by his stage name P.O.W ( meaning Power of Words), is an up and coming rapper/songwriter from the Bronx, N.Y.
He got his start in music at the age of 16 but didn't begin recording till the age of 22. "It took time to find my own sound", he says. In finding his sound, P.O.W created his first mixtape titled Dope-Sick-Love vol.1, released January 14th of 2014 on Hotnewhiphop.com. "I describe it as organic Hip Hop story telling with substance" says P.O.W.
He is beginning to make waves performing in the Indie Hip Hop circuit and is building an increasing social media following.
The 1st video off of Dope-Sick-Love vol.1, Adopium, can be found on his YouTube channel Powmuzik. He plans to release two more videos in the upcoming months.
P.O.W is also working on his second project Dope-Sick-Love vol 2. as well as his EP, which will be available on ITunes.

I’m a lifelong New Yorker and a lover of all things music.  My influences come from many different cultures and backgrounds.  I love sampling, it’s my way of appreciating the geniuses of the past, I also love creating and shaping new sounds from digital vst’s and analog synths.  Tap in!!!!
