DJ FLE x QSOUL - GIMME HOPE

“Seed”, written, composed, arranged, produced and performed by musician Jeremy Karodia in 2013 is sung as a seed in the first narrative. The song is based on the threat of the extinction of our natural seed banks. From a holistic point of view the threat of global climate change and patency of indigenous species by multinational corporations threatens the virtual extinction of our fauna and flora and life as we know it. Just as water and air are being privatised, so are our natural seeds which are being threatened by GMO versions which literally obliterate our natural seed supply, thereby effecting extreme food scarcity and world hunger. Social injustices are all related to these things and as the SEED says… if I die…we die…simple as that.
