Aggressive Patients began as a spoken word experimental musical improv performance, but branched out to include structured songs best described as “experimental art punk”, and sometimes features spoken word. Singer Gretchen F’s first love is literature and her lyrics and spoken word are drawn from or inspired by a book she is writing that deals with topics like mental illness. Though she doesn’t have a musical background, her long time love of innovative, in your face female vocalists like Lydia Lunch, Patti Smith, Kathleen Hanna, Jarboe, Yoko Ono, Tori Amos, Ari Up and many more have inspired her as a vocal performer. Keyboard, Synth, Kazoo and Maraca player The Gribshnobler studied music composition at College of Charleston. His main influences include progressive rock and experimental music. His side projects include making low fi noise music, complex midi compositions, goofy a cappella songs and more. He is the host of The Gribcast. Bassist and acoustic guitar player Aj Rownd has been playing music in the Athens, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC area for years. Some of his influences include The Beatles, Kate Bush and various sub-genres of Indie Rock. He played in the Athens band King of Prussia, and currently plays in numerous bands in the Myrtle Beach area, including The Envelopes. He is currently recording music for his most recent indie pop band Lawrence LaRusso.

Judson Hurd is a music composer and producer based in Wilmington, NC.
