TM Productions - The Full Force Jingle Package Demonstration (1984)

I was a bit obsessed with pirate radio and growing up in Northamptonshire, it took special tropo conditions for the London stations to appear. You also had to wait for Radios 3 and 4 FM to switch off for the night before any pirates were revealed.  Here are some recordings:

Laser 94, London: Saturday 30th September 1989
Freedom 102: 1991 Dudley. I called them and they didn't believe I was hearing them in Northants.
Enterprise FM 91.9 : November 1987 Birmingham.
LWR 92: November 1987 London
Neon Radio 101.9: October 1990. Sunday afternoons only. Never managed to find out anything about this station. Audio quality behind the hiss was great.
PCR 105.3: May 1988.  Amazed when they gave an address in Epsom, Surrey.
Radio Oxygene: 1990. Every Monday night from the Banbury area.
Cruise FM: Summer 1994. Loud and clear signal from the Cruise.

Sunshine 101 (Portmarnock, Dublin, 531kHz) on 16th July 1986.

One morning listening to Sunshine 101...  The record "Bang Zoom! Let's Go Go!" by The Real Roxanne was playing.  Once the song had ended the DJ played it again!  After that he took a call from a listener asking if they wanted to hear the song again.  The listener said no but he played it anyway.  I listened for at least an hour and he kept playing that record over and over.  After that I was doing other things but periodically throughout the day I kept checking every half hour or so and the station was always playing that record!  This went on until late in the evening.
At one point I made this short recording on the end of a tape.  I wish I'd recorded more but this is all I have.

At the time I had no clue what was happening but looking online today I found a few morsels of information...
The station was launching a new "Hot Hits" format and the DJ on air was Pat Courtenay.
One comment said he'd locked himself in the studio and was fired 2 weeks later.
Another comment says it started at 5pm, another says "late afternoon", another says it went on for 2 and a half hours.  It definitely started earlier than that and went on a lot longer than 2 and a half hours!
