名古屋を拠点に活動する4人組オルタナティブ・ロック・バンドApple Lightの新作『Are you happy now?』が完成した。今作は彼らのキャリア3枚目となる作品。「消えゆくの時の儚さ」を切り取ったような切なく、優しいメロディと歌詞、90年代オルタナティブロックの影響を感じさせる疾走感のあるサウンドが重なり、繊細なメロディが作り上げる蒼く儚い音世界はリスナーの胸をしめつける。

アルバムのアートワーク・イラストは、アフタヌーン四季賞佳作入選しデビュー、「土星マンション」（小学館）で第１５回文化庁メディア芸術祭マンガ部門大賞受賞の岩岡ヒサエが担当。惜しくもメンバーの急逝により4人で作る最初で最後の作品となってしまった今作は、「音楽に救われてきた者にしか作れない」作品であり、彼らの音楽へ対する想いが積もった傑作となっている。

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Iman Europe releases her debut album, Nami. Nami is Iman's name backwards; a nickname given to her as a child. Ironically enough, Nami also means "wave" in Japanese and "us" in Polish, which plays a part in the thematic direction of the album. In this Los Angeles love story, Iman showcases her sonic versatility and immaculate writing skills, while keeping listeners engaged from start to finish. According to Iman Europe, she "made an album, album", taking the time to skillfully craft a storyline that many listeners can follow and relate to. "This is a story of falling in and out of love with someone, ultimately to find that love within yourself," she says. Tapping into her Creative Writing Bachelor's Degree, Iman also wrote an affirmation book titled Nami Says to accompany the album.
