Macaw Song - Flippin the bird.

Flippin the bird is a project using only bird samples, albeit not always recognizeable as birds. The bass on this one is a canary, the kick comes from a magpie,... There's an owl organ wailing and a cuccoo playing, but the star of the night is the macaw.

Feel free to download, but it would be nice if you refer to me when sharing.

This is not the final mix. It will be released in its final mix early 2014 when the project is complete. As I'm a complete newbie to electronic music, I really appreciate all comments and tips on how to make this sound better.

Chaos Controllers (est. 2013) are a pair of fakebit posers here to spoil your local chipscene.

Robin Neefs and Sanne Werkers aim to fuse the sound of 8bit with more modern sounds in order to create a full-blown party atmosphere with a touch of nostalgia.

Using not only emulated chipsounds, but also blatantly stolen videogame samples and hi-quality drums, they explore the twilight zone between chiptune, drum n bass, core, dub, dubstep and much more!

In 2014 Chaos Controllers had the honour of seeing "Fastest Thing Alive" - a remake of an old Sonic TV-theme song - released as the opening track on "BeChipped - The Belgian Chiptune Compilation" (BitGrid Records). That same year saw the release of the "Fakebit Posers" EP, followed by the "Kaosukontorora" album in 2015 (both at Den Hoed Music Records): 14 songs showcasing the versatility and playfulness they stand for.

With a well received live show, incorporating arcadesticks, wiimotes, gamepads, midi-guitars and all sorts of madness, the duo played a whole bunch of chiptune parties and venues such as BitGrid and Kinky Star, and even got selected for Studio Brussel's De Nieuwe Lichting 2017!
