Growing up in the deep south of Germany with multi ethnic friends and big interest in many different music genres of the world, Borrowed Identity built his wide knowledge in music. This variety in his musical taste is also the reason why he is working under different aliases producing a big variety of sound from ambient to house to experimental music and everything inbetween. Borrowed Identity debut EP on Quintessentials is another great example for his multistyle approach to music. You’ll find elements of house, disco, techno, ambient and more – always with an imminent love for music. Borrowed Identity released his first 12” inc. a Mark E remix on Foul&Sunk last year. That was just the start of an impressive career we dare to say. Borrowed Identity is a music freak and works very fast on tracks. Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts, Traveller Records (Finland), the Legendary Sound Research, Stripped & Chewed (Chicago), Catz N Dogz Pets Recordings and soon Mistress all released some splendid Borrowed Identity tunes. And we do the same!

Following on from their Fabric presents mix compilation in April, Chaos In The CBD return with the lead single ’Sirena Deep’ from a forthcoming EP on their much loved In Dust We Trust imprint. 

This classy Deep House track is one for the early hours of the night, with a warm and deep rolling bass line and beautifully layered keys. Washed over with a stunning flute accompaniment from long-term collaborator and legendary jazz musician Nathan Haines which adds the extra magic to this outstanding production.

John Gazoo's 2nd 12'' is falling again graciously in our Compost Disco cosmos. His previous top tune «What Happened» was so well appreciated by so many DJs, lot of them still playin that tune again and again. So we are proud to presenting his new disco smash here. «Midnight Runner» oozes soul, funkyness and the wahwah infected undisputed truth of the Seventies. Also «Next One in Dark» is a cool stunning tune, riding high at the tested floors. As a new force on the scene, Düsseldorfer John Gazoo is an amazing good DJ, too, we recently had him over in Munich for a great party, and he knows how to use his powerful weapons in different scenarios.
