Jon Randall, one of the song's co-writers, had just divorced from country singer Lorrie Morgan before writing this song. In addition, he had lost a record deal, and had not been able to find a songwriting contract either. He found himself drinking whiskey regularly, and pursuing sexual desires. After seeing the condition that Randall was in at the time, his manager told him, "Hey man, every now and then you've got to put a bottle to your head and pull the trigger." 
Randall then wrote down that line, and decided to use it in a song. He then met Bill Anderson and began to write the song, which eventually made its way to Paisley. Randall himself also included a version on his 2005 album Walking Among the Living.

Chapa C es un dúo de reggaetón romántico originario de Cuba formado por "D.J. Sam" (Dave Jazzy Sam) y “El Classico”

Fue creado como grupo, el 20 de octubre del 2004 en la ciudad de Holguín y teniendo como base un estilo romántico dentro del género del reggaetón en la isla. Se convirtieron en artistas del Instituto de la Música Cubana a finales del 2005 pudiendo así comercializarse libremente y desarrollar una carrera artística profesional.

Cuatro años después del inicio, de giras y conciertos locales que sirvieron de base y experiencia con el público, los éxitos musicales “Llorarás Por Mí”, “Eres Tú” y “No Puedo” impulsaron la primera gira internacional que permitió la aparición de los artistas en el continente sudamericano.

Hasta el cierre del 2009 realizaron más de 120 conciertos cantando para miles de personas en principales escenarios y eventos musicales en su paso por Brasil, Paraguay, Argentina y Uruguay. En la actualidad están dedicados a la producción del nuevo material discográfico, el álbum nombrado “I WILL BE: LIKE BIG STARS” y que ya cuenta con los éxitos “Me Tienes Loco”, “Sé Que Volverás” y “Mírame”.

El estilo musical particular influenciado por el pop y la combinación con los ritmos latinos hacen una diferencia con los demás artistas del género y sin el apoyo de ningún sello discográfico cuentan con un total de 51 temas grabados, remixes, y colaboraciones con otros artistas que forman parte de su discografía.
