Just over a year has passed since the release of Kellerkinds Music is a Miracle album: now the Swiss talent finally delivers a new EP in the form of Move Me, which showcases how his sound has evolved. The title track is an atmospheric affair drawing you in with garage percussion, deep horns and icy synths, while the vocals add a layer of detachment. Believe in You nods to classic Kellerkind by way of a disco groove a neo-trance lead adds an extra twist however. Next up, Joachim Pastor turns Move Me into a tour de force of musical wizardry, while Jiggler gets locked deep in the groove.

Why do we tell stories? 

We breathe, we eat, we sleep. We seek connection. These are our basic human needs. 

But there is one more need we all share, and it centres on stories. All across the world, stories are being recounted everywhere, in every imaginable way, at any given time. For telling stories is at the very essence of what it is to be human. 

The universe of stories can be broken down into seven basic plots which underlie all stories ever told. Recognising these patterns is the gateway to unravelling the universal symbolic language from which all storytelling is spun.

Enter Dragon Suplex, a twin-headed tune producing beast from Switzerland who deliver the third track with ‘Mystified’ feat. Samzing. Another behemoth, this one is equally dark and banging, bringing a good dose of tension to proceedings.

They say that there are only seven basic plots but a thousand different stories. 

And so, as the storyteller utters that age old, magical formulation, "Once upon a time...", let yourself be carried away…

Two prime Berliner power duos bring their creative forces together in their first joint production, after having previously collaborated on remix duties. 
Emerging from a dark lair overpassing techno and house, Dirty Planet finds the artists putting their collective stamp on the dance agenda, with Kruse & Nuernberg bringing forth their knack for aptly crafted melodies and Mat.Joe packing up dancefloor heat through rhythm and percussion. 

Seems Real kicks off with a zippy synth sequence that plays around a perfect balance of melody and seductive rhythmics. The eerie vocal hook sets a dreamy ambiance as the cut unfolds brimming with subtle bleeps. 

Aside from the bumping bassline that surfaces from the get-go, another element that’s instantly felt on Dirty Planet is the panting vocal sample. Laying a nervous mood from the first beats, the track explores a variety of frequencies by the way of percussive alternations filled with claves and clangs. 

With its united production efforts, Dirty Planet offers up two strapping tracks that bypass the brain and aim straight for the body.

Nothing Is Real welcome Low Manuel for the 6th release of the label. 

Low Manuel is a real music lover born in Italy in the 90’s.  His music vision is the expression of his character, introspective, dark and sophisticated.
His style is a mixture of indie electronic but also Techno and his compositions transmit emotions, influenced by the Stars and the Marine World. The 'Scourge Ep' explores new musical shades, hinting at moments of new wave through a lens of psychedelia.
The title track is a trip with an incredibly catchy rhythmic pattern and a strong bassline, while 'The Room’ has a ravey hypnotic and powerful touch.
The Italian duo Margot remix ’The Scourge’ delivering a strong version with their typical synth-driven kraut-techno style adding insane beats, fizzing synths and peaking chords for optimal dancefloor effect. While Nhar gives us his unique and introspective reinterpretation giving the track a mesmerizing deep electronic vibe, taking us to a journey between the bright and dark sides.

Having previously featured on Eskimo Recordings' 2018 compilation 'The Purple Collection’ as one half of Languages, Franz Matthews returns to the label alongside fellow Berliners Local Suicide with 'Meditation / Tutan Jamon', 2 tracks of heady disco that join the dots between the German capital and the sun soaked souks of North Africa.

Despite living on the same street for 4 years Franz Matthews and Brax Moody and Vamparela from Local Suicide only met recently through their common friend Sam Berdah (Days of Being Wild, Club Bizarre). Making up for lost time, the trio soon found themselves bonding in the studio, digging into their love of both the esoteric and travelling, and together channelled those passions into 2 spiritually infused numbers.
 
'Meditation'was the first result of this inspired partnership, appropriately recorded at the same time that Matthews was also recording music for a meditation app, and features a freeform stream of consciousness from Vamparela over a suitably hypnotic backing of wistful guitars and breezy rhythms. 'Tutan Jamon' meanwhile shares its DNA with recent Eskimo releases by the likes of Simple Symmetry and SHMLSS, the track built around a couple of very Egyptian influenced riffs and comes in two distinct versions.
 
Between his production studio MOWD, his duo Languages, and his solo electronic project, Franz Matthews keeps himself busy. Making Berlin his hometown for the past 5 years, the Franco-German producer and DJ has always kept one hand in the Indie Dance world, while the other wanders in more Psychedelic Pop realms, a winning combination that's seen him release music on imprints such as Eskimo Recordings, Days of Being Wild, Rockets & Ponies.
 
Local Suicide, aka DJs and producers Brax Moody and Vamparela, meanwhile have made a name for themselves putting on some of the most infamous underground parties Berlin has to offer, running their acclaimed blog and still finding time to make waves with their productions, a wild fusion of new wave, acid, slow techno and post-disco that has seen them work with the likes of Rodion, Mijo and Curses in recent years.

The fresh remixes keep on coming from Get Physical, this time with a new take on a single by Stereo.type feat. Felix Raphael that was originally released on the imprint's latest Words Don’t Come Easy compilation. Vital versions come from label associates old and new including Ryan Murgatroyd, Bebetta & Cioz and T.M.A..


Bebetta & Cioz have been cooking up the goods together for a while now on labels like Monaberry. Here they lock you in a trance with their spellbinding keys and synths. Softly spoken vocals add to the alluring effect and make this house music as deep as it is sensitive. The excellent original version is a deep yet bumping house cut with melodic bass and curious synths that bring a playful sense of colour. It exudes real human warmth from Felix Raphael’s vocals and is perfectly steamy.


T.M.A is a German duo that mix organic drums and guitars and powerful basslines. Their invigorating remix is a superbly slow burning affair with rumbling synth loops and expansive pads. Forever trapping you in the elongated groove, it’s a tender one for intimate dance floors and late night sessions. Last of all is Get Physical’s core artist Ryan Murgatroyd, who combines the African rhythms of his Cape Town home with super electronic stylings. And that is the case here as he layers in rich xylophone melodies, rasping synths and loose-limbed rhythms that will warm through any floor.
