Ahora es el turno de Pinorama, la etiqueta de Rubén Kielmannsegge, la cual nos adelanta el remix del track Echoes de productor madrileño. Canción original incluida en el album de Kingdom.

The opening of the 27th Chapter sees the revelation of Scottish artist Kieran Apter’s sophomore ‘All I Want’ EP, featuring Editions from Aera (Innervisions, Hivern Discs) and Manuel Tur (Innervisions, Freerange).

Newcomer Kieran is hotly tipped for success, having come to the attention of some of the best artists in the scene as head honcho and resident DJ for Edinburgh house and techno party ‘Tweak_’.

Opener ‘All I Want’ is a standout composition, featuring the vocals of singer/producer and Nicolas Jaar collaborator Leon Power. It is followed up by the instrumental ‘Elle’ which, more arpeggio-driven, shares the same spiritual feel and electronic soul as the title track.

The Editions on the EP are worthy of the original material. Between them, Aera and Manuel Tur have amassed classic releases on labels as seminal and worthy of reference as Innervisions, Hivern Discs, Freerange and Running Back.

Aera’s Edition blends afro techno, chopped vocals and a beguiling synth sequence to winning effect, in a version heavy on dark drama.

Meanwhile, Manuel Tur turns in two versions, both equally stunning. The first is driving and twisted; the most dancefloor-oriented track on the EP. Meanwhile the second makes the very most of the original’s vocals, placing the focus on live instrumentation and a disco groove.

A stunning and versatile package, we are proud to be a part of launching Kieran Apter's artist career and are excited for what's to come.

About the Release :

'La Rêve' is the twenty-fifth release of Aftertech Records by the already legendary Cliff de Zoete. This 'Diamond in the Rough' from the Netherlands shows his massive talent in this wonderful EP. He shows once again that he is master of combining deepness, groove and melodies in one perfect blend. Together with remixers THe WHite SHadow and Frezel this has become one hell of an EP!

Honouring this awesome party organization, Cliff has gone all out with 'La Rêve'. Right from the starts he manages to set the vibe with mesmerizing percs and a catchy melody. Only to be accompanied by a powerful bassline and later on a smooth pluck. This track makes you dance and dream away all at the same time, a great achievement by Cliff de Zoete!

Der Slaufkugel, as the name suggests, is a killer of a track. It doesn't take long before the heavy bassline reveals itself and the tone of the track is set. A wobbing synth, together with smart use of percussion, lead you forward towards a massive drop. Even then he manages to keep the track growing in strength until finally the melody comes in and everything comes together.

THe WHite SHadow transformed La Rêve into something dreamier and even more deep. His intro is mesmerizing, making you drift away on bits and pieces of the original melody. Airy synths lead towards the break where suddenly everything becomes quiet. Only for the drop to emerge and a wonderful brass to take over. New melodies come to light and the dream is complete. A wonderful story indeed!

In Frezel's remix the percussion and the fast hihats start out groovy. They build up to a deep and solid bassline supported by dreamy synths. These quickly make room for a strong and hypnotizing melody that slowly takes over. In the break this melody starts building tension, only to disappear completely and giving a powerful bassline all the room he can get. Later on the dreamy synths, the melody and the bassline are rejoiced, blowing everyone away!

This EP will get a special place with the dreamy clubbers for sure!

‘Hiraeth’ is the second single release of Sid Le Rock’s upcoming album on hafendisko, foreshadowing the dance-floor oriented brilliance of indie electronica he presents on Scenic Route.

Sid Le Rock resides in Berlin right now, but grew up under the maple trees of Northern Ontario, Canada, where he began to amaze the world as a prolific producer, DJ and live performer. My Favourite Robot, Kompakt, Mute Records and hafendisko are only a few big time labels
on which he has released on. Likewise, he continuously releases music on his own imprint - Beachcoma. 

‘Hiraeth’ is drawing attention on how Sid Le Rock authentically represents his underground-credebility.

The track plays with the sonic charm of a broken down arpeggio which evolves throughout the etherealsynth pads and scapes. It has a great vibe, that goes deep and fits into the sunset moods of a late
summer festival as likely as it heats the dance-floor during a club night.

French producer Damon Jee (Correspondant, Sinopat, Rotten City) breaks down the original to its initial elements, creating a monster of a remix that goes under the skin. What has been light-headed and moody before, now becomes a tool for an absolute club-banger that is
going to leave its marks!

The artwork has been created by Alex Solman, “the man behind the distinctive drawings for the Golden Pudel and one of the best visual artists working in music today” (Resident Advisor)
