While slowly arriving in real life from the Fusion parallel universe, we are still in the process of realizing that we actually played at the infamous Sonnendeck last week. What an honor! It was just overwhelming and unreal to share our favorite music with such a massive crowd on this beautiful stage. Miraculously, our nervousness disappeared right when we hit the play button and spotted so many familiar faces in the front row, so we got to enjoy those two hours to the fullest. Thanks to everyone who came around on Wednesday evening and to the lovely @3000-grad crew for having us - we will keep this memory in our hearts forever! <3

*We are well aware of the little sound quality issue throughout the penultimate track, which we didn't notice while playing (and being excited as hell hehe). Sorry for that, didn't want to re-record however!

Marliblue & Sofyah I Fusion Festival 2023 I Sonnendeck

What a journey this set was for me. A journey to love. A tender love, a lustful one. One full of passion and tenderness. One that is addressed to me. One that is a home for all of us. A love that lasts a lifetime, like that of my two wonderful friends as they celebrated their 25 year non-wedding anniversary on the day of the recording. A love that knows no barriers or boundaries, but blows them away effortlessly. A love that defies the storms, is strong and unshakably soft at its core. A love that can forgive, itself and others. A love that grows steadily because it is curious and compassionate. 
And above all, a love that is unconditional. 
May this infinite love rain down on you whenever you need it. May you live in the knowing that this love is within you. May it accompany you, guide you, inspire you. 
You are full of wonder and capable of anything - just the way you are. I forget that very often, as perhaps we all do. Thank you to all those who tirelessly remind me. May we be shelter to each other.

ALMA LINDAS LOVE IN-FUSION 2023

Here is the set I played at the Fusion Festival 2023.

I can't believe I just wrote that sentence!

Somehow on Friday, 30.6. the stars aligned and this incredible opportunity landed in my lap: sharing my favourite music from the past two months, that I before was confused about what to do with since it didn't seem to fit into any of the other gigs I got to play since April..In the one hour I had to prepare I realized that I had collected just the perfect music for this exact moment - a soft rainy afternoon at one of my favorite magical corners on these incredible festival grounds, the Firespace. 

A huge thanks to the sweet & beautiful Firespace crew for the trust and kind words (and the delicious sound!), to my dear friend @tadoh for the support in taking over his slot because he couldn't be there, and to the beautiful faces dancing in front of me in the rain. I am bursting of gratitude for all of you!

This Festival has felt like home for me since 2007, and I am proud of bringing my share of co-creation to this special place for quite a while now - but playing there as a DJ would not have been on my radar for years if it wasn't for my fucking awesome friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Magnus & Annette, I love you lots!!!! This was an unforgettable highlight of my already huge collection of magical fusion moments, and I will treasure it dearly.

Soooo hier ist der Mitschnitt von meinem Gig auf dem Sonnendeck. 


Die Aufnahme hat leider nicht die beste Quali und hat auch so seine Fehlerchen weil mal bei nem Übergang ans Jogwheel gekommen und dabei außem Rhythmus gekommen, an manchen stellen übersteuert usw blabla....aber ich habe mich dagegen entschieden es zu re-recorden weil es dann nicht genau den Moment wiedergegeben hätte wie er war! 

Warum dann hoch laden? Weil es wie wahrscheinlich von vielen immer nen großer Traum von mir war auf der Fusion zu spielen und ich unglaublich geflashed bin das es dieses Jahr urplötzlich soweit war. Diesen Moment will ich gerne teilen auch wenn er nicht perfekt war! 

Dankeeee an alle Menschen die dabei waren, an die großartigste Artist Care <3 an meinen lieben @coordese für den emotionalen Support und das Mastering und natürlich an @leeni-rhrn für die Einladung und das Vertrauen das der Sound in die frühen Donnerstag Morgenstunden passen würde <3 Ich hab mich super aufgehoben gefühlt bei euch <3 <3 <3

Wenn gemeinsam Träume wahr werden... Was ein Festival, was eine Insel, was ne Crew, was ne Crowd und was ein morgen! Da ich mich erst vor 2 Jahren auf den Events der @mystic-tales-berlin in Downtempo verliebt habe, war es schon ultra schön zu hören, dass die Mystics uns vom BeYond Kollektiv dabei haben wollten um ihre schöne Insel in Polen in eine zauberhafte Parallelwelt zu verwandeln✨. Dass @thisisrakaethe und ich dann auch noch den Mainfloor für @hhaller einheizen durften war ein einziges Träumchen. Nur schön und unfassbar aufregend die eigenen Lieblingstracks und die ersten eigenen Produktionen auf so einer Anlage zu betanzen.  Und wieviele Lieblingsmenschen mit uns in der Hitze breit grinsend sich wild tanzend in der Musik verloren haben werde ich literally nie vergessen. Wir können die nächsten gemeinsamen Abenteuer kaum abwarten🚀

When dreams come true together... What a festival, what an island, what a crew, what a crowd and what a morning!  Since I fell in love with downtempo only 2 years ago at the Mystics events, it was super special to hear that the Mystics wanted us from the BeYond collective there to turn their beautiful island into a magical parallel world. That @thisisrakaethe  and I were booked to heat up the mainfloor for @hhaller was literally a dream come true. Just beautiful and incredibly exciting to dance to your own favorite tracks and your first own productions on such a sound system.  And I will literally never forget how many of our favorite people lost themselves in the music, smiling brightly and dancing wildly in the heat. We can hardly wait for the next adventures together.
Big big thank you to the @mystic-tales-berlin who made dreams come true for so many people in Poland. Only love to @beyondcollectiveberlin for the dreamlike family trip on this mystical island.

Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going? Besides being the name of a famous Gauguin painting, these are questions that have most probably been valid for any given time period. In ancient Greece, Socrates believed that the purpose of the human mind is to explore the nature of virtue in order to perfect the soul and build a life based on ethical knowledge. Epicurus thought, meanwhile, that the goal of living is to receive pleasure, not sensory though, but through getting rid of physical pain, emotional restlessness, suffering and fear of death. Medieval Europe and India, despite cultural differences, had the same understanding of the meaning of life – worship of ancestors, adherence to common religious and mythical ideals, and the importance of ascribed status. Schopenhauer defined a person’s life as the product of a metaphysical will: people think they act on their own, but are in reality driven by someone else’s will. Danish philosopher Kierkegaard argued that life is full of absurdity and that humans must create their own values in an indifferent world. Pragmatic philosophers believe that instead of searching for the truth about life, people should seek a useful understanding of life. And so on and so forth. Natural disasters, epidemics, wars, the rich and the poor will come and go, but questions about the meaning of life and those who seek answers for them have always been and will forever be there. The text turned out this way perhaps because when listening to @oh_why’s music, you want to either ask yourself Gauguin’s questions or be the one who finds the answers.
