Butter is a lot like Jam - its spreadable, edible and all around unforgettable. Our number one goal is to fill your ears with tasty grooves. The band was first established at Miles & Eric's place (Chicago, IL) in 2015. Butter was churned from the loins of other Chicago bands, Bullfights on Acid (Eric Doar, Miles Eddy and Bryan Scheinkopf on Drums, Bass and Guitar) and the Casual Ties (Jordan Nettgen on Keys), as well as Colorado based Wild Love Tigress (Anthony Felts, Guitar). Everybody sings, so be prepared for some simmering 5 part harmonies.

The nice thing about Butter is that it goes on everything. You'd be surprised how many different flavors Butter can amplify. Good ol' country cookin'? Butter. A ragin' Cajun meal? Butter. An array of Latin American dishes? Butter. Scones & Tea? Butter.

The same can be said about Butter's music, only the music won't increase your cholesterol. We take influence from all around the musical spectrum. Some nights you might find us in a chickin' picken mood. Others, maybe we'll be play some salsa. Butter's intention is to add to and amplify the already flavorful melting pot that is music, and bring real people together while doing it... Dang, food and music have a whole lot in common.
