Juan Carlos Mendez Areu A.K.A. " BNLOKO"

Started his lifestyle on the deck back in 2002 in Cozumel Mexico, having a long trajectory
making BEACH PARTIES come true like a DREAM .

Back in the days bloke shared decks with Mexican talents as BOGARD(palladium)
hydrogen(local Dj from LA RIVIERA MAYA), DAVID a.k.a. NEGRO f(talent form LA RIVIERA
MAYA) NEGRO has influenced BNLOKO in a spirit way. where BNLOKO found real passion
for TECHNO and HOUSE MUSIC.

Minneapolis

In 2005 BNLOKO moved to MINNEAPOLIS. BN LOKO ended up realizing MINNEAPOLIS has
an amazing
TECHNO UNDERGROUND SCENE where BNLOKO and all his soul influences and heart
,started playing
out in 2010. Took him almost 5 years to have relations and get deeply involved on the scene,
earning love and respect from the ones that has been in Minneapolis before him.

With the collaboration and 100% support from THE MEXIKAN TEKNO MAFIA he became
MTM resident same as Yaleb Villalobos,Aldo Delucio and Mr Cesar Acosta with MTM BnLoko
has shared the stage with great talents and with his hyper energy related to his nickname

venues in Minneapolis and Mexico as:

Vieka Plays (:vee-e-ka p-l-aa-ys). Born, will die. A female singer-songwriter-electronic-fiddler-producer-engineer currently residing in the fair lands of Manchesterville, UK. Inspired and nourished by music and sound.

 Vieka plays her music full frontal, sometimes delicate, sometimes brash but always dedicated to the senses. Alikened to Björk, Portishead with a dash of Cocorosie, Vieka moves through you in a whirl of challenging stories and sounds created by all manors of electronic geekery that can be harnessed, beated and whipped into shape.

With a lustful desire for the wild world, Vieka weaves through all manner of sounds; blending, warping and creating impassioned soundscapes with subtle sound recordings from nature, life and the wide-wide world. Obtuse creations of synthesised bass, glitch noise and samples come from deep within the digital spectrum while the vocals cut through unabashed.
